PVP is a s***show right now because of the cloak minigame, and what I expect is not to be told âEverything youâre doing right now is pointless in a week, but keep playing anyway.â
"Play a different game" is not a solution to âWoW is boring.â Itâs a solution to âIâm bored.â If the 10% of players who desperately need their frankly ugly mount or gear that will be equally redundant in a month are mad that they didnât get to finish it, thatâs their sunken cost fallacy to deal with.
We have nothing to do except hunt cosmetics or get pets. No relevant content. Nyalotha isnât fun enough to run more than a few times. PVP is unplayable because there are gpy mages out there killing full vers/mastery tanks in less than 2 seconds because of the haste corruptions, and other equally ridiculous things that you can cruise the pvp forums and find on your own.
Balance has already gone out the window with corruptions, in all forms of play, so I donât particularly care if pre-patch is also currently in need of tuning. Content first, always.

iâm sure thereâs plenty for you to do.
just because you donât want to do it, doesnât mean it isnât there.
i get the feeling that the reason youâre posting on a classic alt, is to hide the fact that like most of the people complaining there is nothing to do, youâve done nothing. 
that sounds like a thing.
itâs a thing that we didnât have while waiting around for the lead-up to most expansions.

I really donât think they have the sub numbers they wanted and expected, I wonder why? hell this game is a mess atm lag dcâing instance not found and STILL aborting. People I think will wait and read up on it once it is released to decide if they will buy it. I know Iâm not buying cause Iâm not paying for a game to lag out dc and just in general poor performance. Merging all these realms is causing some many problems with lag and framerates. And they did nothing to combat it knowing it would cause problems. GL to those wanting to play SL I happy for you if that makes you happy.

not really season 7 of Legion was only 12 days and we got the notice yesterday for the end of the pvp season
The PTR has had a release build.
And announcements for the pre-patch dates are within a few days of the release, Legion being 3 days and BFA was 5

Have you actually played the pre-patch? you can now on PTR - it really is not THAT exciting. In fact, most classes feel worse cause you losing borrowed power. The 1-10 starting island is a joke for people who have played WoW, it honestly is not that exciting. It goes through how to move your camera, move your character - it is very BASIC (as it should be, for its purpose). The scourge event was very nerfed and lame.
I am not sure what you guys expect from the pre-patch, but its really not content.

Personally, I am excited for prepatch. My guild is going to come back from raid break and test out the classes we want to raid with in firs Tier of SL raiding. Also run some keys for more testing. Yeah the prepatch story will be⌠InterestingâŚ?.. but Iâm down to do it once or twice! I am super excited for pvp to be closer to skill over gear with corruptions gone. I never focused on pvp corruptions so it will be cool to actually win a fight (without the other player just being total garbage haha).
There is plenty for me to look forward to. And Iâd rather it come out with a couple of bugs that they hotfix, instead of them waiting longer, It releasing unfixed, even after the extension. And then it not get fixed for 2 content patches⌠lol oh BFA has made me so cynical when it comes to blizzard fixing things/balance.
Still hopeful though!

I too am done with BFA and would like something new to do - I shall also join you in your dissatisfaction with blizz.
However, I shall contribute to the riot by standing quietly at a distance, - gazing sternly at blizz while holding up my flip-flop threateningly. They know what it means, and theyâre right to fear it.

Things like this make me feel like most people on this forum donât really understand game development.
The slated release is October 26th. Itâs September 23rd now. Very rarely are games still deep in development when theyâre this close to release. Most games go gold by this point.
I seriously doubt Blizzard is doing any massive changes/tunings to the expansion now.
