According to reality TV it’s pretty easy to not get in trouble for such activities
Indeed. I raid, but no further than heroic, and I often get to the point where I only log in for raids, and maybe for daily wuesys if i haven’t finished the rep grind or whatever yet. I consider myself casual. To others that isn’t casual. To others, casual is purely solo world content. Or maybe LFR raids. Some might even consider logging in every day for daily quests a little bit beyond casual.
Casual is a very subjective term.
raises hand
Casual players can play a LOT. I do.
We just dont take the game seriously like hardcore players do…be they raiders, collectors or like my wife…achievement nuts who live to get what theyre after.
Me, if it annoys me for a minute or so, I delete the quest and move along, lol
I think the hard part about this is casual is widely defined in different ways by different people. I consider myself casual. But there are plenty of people who look at me and say the opposite. In my mind, if I’m not mythic raiding, or pushing 2400, then I am casual.
But other people see that I do things like push duelist regularly, do some 20s and heroic raid, and they think I’m anything but casual. Even though in my mind, heroic raiding and 15s-18s are casual. And sometimes I do not accomplish something like AOTC, which I didn’t during the first two tiers of SL (although that can be argued for different reasons). Despite not accomplishing them though, they still are, in my mind, casual content.
So eh. It’s subjective.
No, know. I am the same way, I raid, PVP, and some other stuff. Just not a lot
I’m definitely a casual. And while I decided not to push higher keys this season because I saw no reason to. Last season, I did 20s and 21s. I don’t think it’s the things you do that make you casual or hardcore, but how long you spend playing the game. How many hours and days you dedicate to something.
