Dude just quit then. Go find something else to do.
Yeah. This has nothing to do with idea that Blizzard wont listen to players. The OP doesn’t care about that. The OP wants Blizzard to acknowledge him or her specifically. Even if they did what would they say? This is not constructive feedback or suggestions on what to change specifically. Threads like this mods should have approval to straight up remove. Its a waste of everyones time.
A good analogy here is Just because I want a meeting with the planning committee of a building because I don’t like what they are doing doesn’t mean ill get it. Me crying about them saying no when I ask for one won’t make anything better olr change the fact either
Just recently me and others asked for a few new hair customizations option and they listened and gave them to us in a mini patch.
But right now, with the stuff happening at Blizzard and possible staff shortages, I’d just wait and see how things go.
Like, give your feedback and suggestions anyway and give them some time to take it in and sort through all the feedback on the forums.
A couple of years back my country’s McDonalds released some REALLY good Ice Cream. It was like brown sugar ice cream and I loved it so much and actually wrote an email (I’ve never done this before) asking them if they could consider making it part of their regular menu.
I never heard from them, and I’ve never seen the ice-cream be part of their menu again, and my life has gone on perfectly fine before that event, during that event, and after that event. In fact, I didn’t think about it until I thought of a reply for your thread.
Long story short, it’s okay to ask for things, or comment, criticize, whatever. But do not think that this world owes you anything simply for existing. Attention is given, not earned. And you can try to make 10,000 threads, but ultimately all it does is just make you look desperate and needy, which invalidates the power of your words.
Just some things to consider and reflect on because I sense you care very deeply about things.
Then why is this game a mess if they so call listen? everything people are given advice on they have ignored. Hence the mess they have now. It’s all about people buying tokens for carries or gear end of story. You call that LISTENING? I don’t have a good night.
Best advice for the OP in the entire thread. Good job
They don’t listen to customers or investors judging by the crash. So what exactly are they up to and how are they still in business.
Wow. Shadowland’s is sooo bad and sooo many people have left. Many players left good feed back during beta and it was ignored. The months and months they didn’t speak to us - I do not have words for.
It’s normal to get a “no” here and there but blizz has given too many “no’s” or just silence. And, I think its mostly adults playing this game, not children.
Just because they don’t pass you a note in class like a school girl doesn’t mean they are not listening. Hell the recent “.5” was filled with things people discussed here. Some of you just think you are more special than you are or your ideas are so great that no one could disagree with them…
The first point is debatable and the second point is speculation.
Shadowlands is a serviceable expansion. It’s not their best expansion (that would be Legion in my opinion, with MoP coming in at a close second) but it’s far from their worst expansion (which was, and always will be WoD). And yes, players did leave feedback, and where Blizzard felt changes needed to be made based on said feedback, they changed things.
But as I highlighted in my first post in this thread, not all feedback is unanimous and Blizzard has to factor in not only the vocal minority, but also the silent majority that may feel very, very different from how the minority feel.
that’s GD in a nutshell: “my opinions are objective reality, so anybody who disagrees with me is clearly an idiot”
One can certainly hope
We actually know nothing of the sort. We know that, as many times before, they say they are listening. But the fact is that given the content development cycle, listening now can at best result in change around 10.2.
Your faith is strong.
I’ll do it Blizzard, don’t test me!
I will WRITE you off, just like that!
Snaps fingers
Breaks up with Blizzard
Promise???
This is the world the internet created.
On the one hand, we have on-the-spot access to the sum of human knowledge.
On the other hand, entirely too many people are so accustomed to just spouting off whatever they feel with zero consequence that they now believe their opinions actually matter.
Its not healthy.
I agree bring back spell power
I think all the ppl that have left “speaks” volumes.
