If you hate the current direction of the game, you can’t stand the forced grind, the lost sandbox that was once WoW for the current borrowed power, time gated grinds, the forced to be unfun Torghast / Boreghast, the no listening from Blizzard likely due to Activision orders, if you think this game needs help and that the Dev’s are wrong for staying this course…
Please unsubscribe. Please STAY unsubscribed until YOU are satisfied to return to the game. If that’s only for a day, that’s fine. I simply ask that you weigh the cost of staying subscribed against your fun played.
Consider if you would buy another extension of this WoW, and apply your choice to the Current WoW as it is now, and the planned 9.1.

Otherwise, FF14 looks like the best game moving forward… probably AT LEAST for the next 5 years SOLID. Their developers actively are in communication with players. There is a real relationship. It feels like a real community.
I’m not unsubscribing, matter of fact, just dropped a two months on a second account. I’m still enjoying wow and having a grand ole time with friends in retail and classic.
My intent was not to troll, it was the first time that came to my mind when you wrote 2 answers without a question lol.
In my case I just subscribed last week, if 9.1 doesn’t work out I am leaving my sub die until 9.1.5 or 9.2, whatever brings anything interesting.
I just downloaded dark souls and that is entertaining me a lot more than wow, also another game will release an expansion by the time my sub lapses, if it is any good I will just leave without saying a word, again.
Wow has tough competition because their are barely trying lately.
I request a story that is written through from vanilla to Shadowlands that makes sense.
I request that the game consider having both developer and player accessible zone, dungeons and raid designers.
I request a fun game, and the consideration that maybe the two prunings were a bad idea.
I request that the level squish be undone and instead a rebalancing of power levels and numbers be done to keep the game from power creeping every single expansion.
I request developers that at least listen to their customers, interact, and maybe, MAYBE, do the few things players might come up with that help the game’s health and longevity.
I swear these forums are recycled and I see the same stuff over and over again. People complain, then complainers complain about the complainers. It’s literally been the same for years.
