Yeah yeah I know another Warhammer-based who-would-win scenario. But this time I think it would be a fair fight. the scenario is this:1 ork vs 1 orc, basic battle arena, basic steel axe, no ranged weapons or mek enhancements.
ork would win
they virtually dont feel pain and are quiet capable of fighting even missing vital body parts
anytime you put 40k up against another thing 40k usually wins

oh they are also a lot taller i believe
they are also heavy enough to step on space mariner armor and crack it
im also pretty sure there strong enough to lift and toss space marines
also extreme stamina etc
long story short ork’s are basically super humans

Warhammer is basically what the RP community thinks Warcraft will become in terms of power scaling if we’re allowed to make whatever class/race combo we wanted.
Ork would eat Orc alive.

I want to say Ork… BUT it’s worth noting that a lot of their “tech” comes from their collective mass psychic conciousness. Without understanding how they kind of will things to work based on their amazing psyker powers… but an Ork could probably still pick up and throw a Kodo at the Orc even without any bolters or vehicles.
I’m not sure an Ork by itself could beat an Orc, depending entirely on the Orc. Orc has massive advantages in intellect and (depending on class and abilities) magic and supernatural powers while the Ork still has advantages in stamina and strength.
lore wise ork boys are strong enough to shove a crude piece of metal through space marine armor lol
I have written many letters to GW complaining about their Str 3 statline.
I will agree, unless we talking the “1 of every pokemon vs 1 billion lions” then my money is on the pokemon lol
unless you mean warhammer 40k, at which point i agree wholeheartedly, someones just gotta tell the ork they are stronger and thus they are.

Is the Orc a Warchief? Because Warchief gets 7D chess abilities, batman IQ and often deity powerups.

WH40k (and to a slightly lesser degree WH fantasy) has an extremely peculiar yet incredibly effective method of balance in that… if everone is OP, no one is. Syndrome would be proud, tbh.
I mean, the basic weapon of Space Marines, Orks, and Chaos Marines, the Bolter, is a freaking SIDEARM that fires .75 calibre rounds designed to penetrate the target and explode inside them. And its a SIDEARM. Crazy stuff.
And even weaklings like the Imperial Guard, who are basically regular humans using lasguns that are commonly nicknamed flashlights due to being pretty ineffective against the horrors of the 40k universe, THEY are OP on account of being essentially endless, they’re like Zerg if Zerg were humans. The Imperial Guards standard military tactics involve putting their infantry in the front line to essentially be a meat shield holding back the enemy while the heavy tanks and artillery sit at the back raining death upon the front lines… yes, including on their own soldiers. And if any Guardsman decides to flee? Gunned down by their own people.
Basically if you throw anything at something 40k, 40k is most likely going to win because everything in 40k is insanely overpowered
