Ok to use 2 on equip trinkets?

Is there anything wrong with rolling with 2 on equip trinkets ?

I had a on use trinket which procs bunch of versatility and an on equip trinket which randomly procs haste. I just had a on equip trinket drop that procs agility and is better then the on use one I currently was using.

Wasn’t sure if using 2 on equip trinkets was bad idea like using 2 on use at same time or if it doesn’t matter with on equip ones because procs are random. Didn’t know if there was some hidden lockout for which each on equip trinket could proc or if they work independently.

Just take whatever gives you the better stat if it’s same ilvl.

Pretty much this. As a tank or healer doubling the on use trinkets is more often than not better since it allows control over when you get the bonus.

It’s harder to use two on use but no reason you can’t do it. Just be aware that two trinkets might look like they are valuable but if you can only use one when you want it the second might not be as valuable.

I know fire mage is using 2 now though, they just need to play around it well.

There is no penalty to using two equip trinket though.

I like on equip passive type trinkets
Dont have to worry about not pressing the buttons.

Just to be clear, I meant previously I was using one on use and one on equip trinket

I’d be switching over to using 2 on equip trinkets at the same time. Obviously I lose the on demand buff of the on use trinket. But I wasn’t sure if using 2 on equip trinkets at the same time, if there was some sort of cooldown that existed for when each can proc randomly. Or if both on equip trinkets can proc say one after the other, or at the same time.

That’s a bit confusing. Are you talking about passive trinkets where the buff goes off on its own? I don’t think it has any effect on your other trinket, same principle like essences.

If you have 2 trinkets that you have to activate manually, then there is a CD before you can use the second one. Mages do this with font and the pvp badge since font has a long duration, they can have both effects together.

Yeah I meant using two passive trinkets at the same time, sorry. I didn’t think one would impact the other but wanted to check with those who know more than me heh.

This I always forget to press trinket buttons anyway.
