Ok the zombie event is now fun

I actually think it’s a pretty lowdown thing to do to the players just trying to gear up some alts. Says everything about the content of your character that this is somehow a selling point in your eyes. I do have some empathy, especially in these horrible times. You do not.

I mean, that’s not really an insult. You’re STILL saying people should be forced into it, or they should GO PLAY SOMEWHERE ELSE. Which is just…what? When I say “Opt Out”, I don’t mean I should be forced to go to an entirely different zone. What I mean, is that you should be able to get a buff or an item or be phased into an entirely different shard that shuts it off. So I can take an alt to Xroads or Darkshire without being flagged.

Again, you are just typing all of this text and you still have no idea what anyone wants and thus, your suggestions are trash.

I agree, it was chaos for first day it was implemented and the people doing exiles reach was actually camped at the city gates by ghouls instant killing them and raising them as undead hence the recruit buff was implemented then it was literally destroying the server by having it attack nonflagged players on PTR so they made it a PVP only thing then the balances were ridiculously overnerfed where it needed to be REBUFFED

Now here we are today where did not fix it properly and it’s just implemented basically Day one set of stats for the zombies but kept the recruit buff, and forgot the autoflag. The loot bugging etc.

This this this this. Full, immersive zones–no escape from the “plague”–that exist. That doesn’t mean every zone. But I don’t want my immersion in a handful of zones being destroyed because people would rather AFK in Orgrimmar than go do their business elsewhere for a few days. It’s a one time event; people can find other outlets.

Girl WHERE.

I have asked you, like, three times to provide evidence on where I said this and you have yet to quote me ever saying that.

You are really on one.

It’s the case in Icecrown at the very least, you get killed at any time while fighting a rare mob and you don’t get flagged for loot. Can’t really comment on the Nathanos fight though.

Overall this entire ghoul event going to get bugfixed probably sooner at 11AM EST

That’s ridiculous. I’ve explained that I see why people are frustrated with the event. It has given full reign to people who wish to troll others, and makes those of us who want to experience immersion look terrible.

Yeah. Don’t expect it to be fixed properly until SL. :stuck_out_tongue: Either enjoy the chaos, or go find somewhere safe until Tuesday.

Bro, how does this NOT say “Go to another zone and do something else?”

Turn it into a full, immersive event for those who wish to participate. For those who don’t, go find something else entertaining to do that’s safe from the chaos for a few days. No harm, no foul.

Like, unreal. If that’s NOT what you mean, I’d dive back into those english books man.

Keep in mind the first quote was actually during the PTR and seeing how the forums are rn with people going ballstic and WOWHEAD reporting bugs with the zombies ya it’s going get fixed quick.

If you’re going to be salty that I recommended you go explore one of the other five capital cities, or one of the dozens of other zones and leave the single city to those who wish to experience the week long event, then you truly are being unreasonable.

Again, I never said I think people should be forced in. You are pulling that out of your behind with false assumptions and this will be my fourth time asking for you to quote me saying that.

They turned it off early last time, with an almost-but-not-quite apology post.

This isn’t the same dev team that did it last time, so maybe they thought they could change it, but all they did was nerf it for people who like it, and still have the same issues for those who didn’t.

A+++ effort.

How dare you want that.

It got better today… I spent part of the evening as a zombie and a wonderful druid kept my zombie health topped off… I was kind of surprised a player could heal me… Spent the rest of the evening fighting some horde, they turned, and then a bunch of us killed them off…

It was a good evening.

It’s ridiculous. Like, how can me recommending that people explore one of the dozens of other cities for a few days somehow equal me claiming they should be forced into my city to experience my event? Like, wut?

Holy mother of pearl. All of your posts are saying it, THAT’S THE ISSUE.

And again, you’re still basing this off of false information. It’s not just A SINGLE CITY. It’s Icecrown, it’s Boralus, it’s Darkshire, it’s Xroads. It’s getting lagged out while trying to do Icecrown bosses, and missing loot on Nathanos, because it isn’t being appropriately stopped from spreading. If however, they had just allowed people to be in their own non PVP shard, hey guess what! That doesn’t happen.

When people (repeatedly) pointed out that you’re commenting from a flawed perspective, you quipped “That’s not been my experience!”.

Yes, we know. But this is the experience others are having, and there should have been a simple solution.

I think that’s what annoys me the most, the ghouls aren’t that strong so I have to image people don’t find that fun to mess around with. But at the same time the ghouls can just do straight up deathruns on people that no one can really stop.

It’s stupid all around.

You’re dictating how they should play the game they are paying for. The absolute worst.

I mean, if you ignore it’s an event that Blizzard themselves put in, and that there are myriad of options to the contrary.

Problem is though with that suggestion people want to do the icecrown dailies for the mog sets, and get their catchup gear on their alts that are 110 from the rares and 100 from the vendor. if zombies are disrupting that gameplay and nathanos boss it’s not fun for people to be in.
