LOL now we have shifted from the insults, to the my mom can beat up your mom type argument, all because other classes are now doing viable raid damage, so Rogues and Warriors aren’t guaranteed all the raid spots.
I’m playing for fun. The problem is: It is not fun to try to get into raids when everyone views your class as redundant. It should be pretty easy for Blizzard to fix this. And yet, here we are, weeks into the phase, and they’re buffing shaman instead. No hate to shaman, but I want to have fun too.
Get a guild and play with friends, problem solved. Rogue damage is enough for Gnomer, same with Warrior. This is just incessant whining over pug culture.
Then find a better raid, or better guild, surround yourself with better people. Also now you know what it felt like to be literally EVERY OTHER CLASS in the game before.
There are plenty of abilities that work differently based on target level (you can’t use Mind Control on targets above a certain level) and the Paladin Glyph of Reckoning in Wrath makes Hand of Reckoning deal damage to untauntable targets, so I’d say there’s a reasonable basis for both.
Your view on balance is subjective. That’s what the problem is.
We’re missing some key context here. The only reason I would replace a rogue for a warlock or priest for a raid is if we had 3-4 melee ALREADY and no ranged. Because rogues are AMAZING for the last two fights in gnomer. Easily the best interrupt.
Huh? Rogues are redundant on both if you have other interrupts. A shaman tank can actually interrupt squirrel 100% of the time and rogue is not guaranteed due to timing.
Also mek really favors ranged dps so you can help with bombs without screwing your uptime
