Ok, so we gave up rbgs to not even have blitz?

I’ve been in queue for over 2 hours? I also had full purples for a few months now, and only 1 game this season after queueing for blitz every day?

I would have had 12-18 rbgs done by now this season (and 2-3 rbgs done in the time that I waited for the blitz queue today)… and it only used to take 30 minutes to form my own rbg group, and early in the season I would stick out in lfg and get into groups within 6-8 minutes if they needed my class/spec.

What is going on? Someone was saying that there was a trick to getting fast blitz queues. So people are using a hack to cut the line? which is against tos? is that what’s pushing my character behind everyone else in the queue?

even if the queue was 20 minutes? we’d still get an 8 minute lack luster arathi basin? that’s worse than the original version because of the new timer function for nodes.

idk I think I’d rather put up with drunken harassment in rbgs than deal with this 2 hour queue that will not pop and an 8 minute arathi basin that feels really bad to play in compared to the original map or even the brawl version.

Solo RBGs are a mistake and so is shuffle, and I’m sorry I advocated for them, because this is MOST DEFINITELY NOT what I had imagined when advocating for this.

Clearly the implementation is the issue here and the reliance on healers is completely unnecessary for bgs, because most people do not or cannot heal and therefore the game should not cater to a small minority which is too heavily relied upon for rated play.

Healers OUT of the rated bgs please.

try duo queue with a friend?

even then though 18 minute queues maybe? to then get queue synced on? why? and have my unknown random holy pally carry the flag while having no healing, just to hold it so no one else on my team can cap it, and then die to her buddies on the enemy team?

I mean, in rbgs sabotage would only happen when there were fewer teams in queue and you were running a no voice comm group.

the implementation of solo queue is clearly not what we had imagined when advocating for this. It is too susceptible to abuse, via queue syncing.

We don’t see it on streams, because everyone is watching the high rated players and the people doing this obviously aren’t good enough to get high rated, because there’s no way they can after spoiling themselves with easy rigged wins.

So basically

Queues are non existent. They take so long you can’t get in games

If you do get in games, it’s a cheating sync queue group. Unless you win, then it’s a legit win. Except you can’t win cause queues don’t exist.

You could shorten your queue times by queuing a healer except shorter queue times will still make you unhappy because a random Holy pally will run the flag poorly.

Not that this matters though because you’re low rated and low rated games are where all the cheaters who win are playing. Except they don’t win because they’re bad and therefore they’re low rated. So they’re good enough to cheat but they can only ever beat you, nobody else higher rated.

Sounds pretty accurate, yea

At 2300 I saw naked teammates, inspected them and they were in the ongoing match we were losing with no gear equipped. The win trading from queue syncing is present. If someone saw that behavior first season like me, it would make sense if they were low rating second season because they’re not queuing much. There is a youtube video on how queue syncing is done with 2 healers duo queued with eachother and another healer duoed with the “buyer” to be boosted. It is easy for two healers throwing to heal eachother while away from the most important objectives and look on the scoreboard like they are healing some.

Easier to tank the other team than beat them

Blizzard sacrificed organized rated play for turbochaotic ranked random bgs. The people that said ‘this is the future’ couldn’t compete in the typical fashion and excelled in this mode, while a majority of your organized players hated it.

Most of the 2.2-2.5k players on my friends list no longer play the game due to queue times. These are people that walk on the 1600 players, who are now 2.2k in rat league, nothing is real anymore in this game… it’s a joke.

PVP is in the worst state I’ve ever seen. I came back for a month and that was enough for me, these people are hopeless.

I am a little confused. According to the armory you haven’t played any games at all? Your first queue at fresh rating is always around 20ish minutes. After that though. But you shouldn’t be getting 2 hour queues with no games played. I would try again. Sounds like your queue may have bugged.

I just queued Blitz on fresh character a few days ago and got in after about 20ish minutes.

Not sure what to tell you other than keep it constructive and focused.

How’s that been going for the pvp community? Deaf ears for a decade on the even the most basic issues that could be addressed in a single afternoon with a competent dev team?

Yeah… they totally deserve the utmost respect.

While I don’t dispute that PvP isn’t in the best shape, I feel compelled to mention that there are likely circumstances that the developers don’t have a say in.

Gotta do what the boss says, sadly.

Is that why there is no interaction, or explanation, for the player base and the ones working there? They’re all in on it, they’re all equally responsible for this flaming heap of trash that pvp has become.

What is your mmr?
Remember that mmr didn’t fully reset between s1 and s2 so if you had gone on a loss streak in s1 it’s possible your mmr was so low that it makes it very hard to find a game.

There’s been issues with people who have had very low mmr not being able to find a match. The solution was to queue with a healer who could drag their mmr out of the mud.

No idea what you’re doing man but I played two games today as DPS and both were under 10 minutes. Once was a 4ish minute que…

Blitz is far from perfect but it’s far better than the old RBG system.

No, objectively false.
