I’ll be stopping at Wrath. Blizz is gonna keep going if they keep making money.

I’m done at Ulduar. Don’t tell my guild…

Pretty sure theyll stop at wrath, because their numbers dropped at cata which made it very unpopular expansion.

Wrath was by far the peak of WoW and they perfected the game at that point. All went downhill with Cata and phasing and layering to advance their ā€˜story’. But their story sucked. No one cared about it and we just wanted to play the game like we did in vanilla. Simple without our hand being held and forced through chain quests after chain quest.

I’ll stop at Cata because that was my favorite expansion (for PvP)

I’ll stop at Wrath. The primary attraction of all of this Classic/BC Classic/Wrath Classic is the ability to play in the pre-Cata world. I’m not interested in Classic anything after that.

Although I am looking forward to Wrath Classic, I am patient and will enjoy BC while it is here.

That’s how I feel as well. Once cata hits the game is pretty much retail imo.

Yeah im just gonna park my characters on the wrath server and play there whenever I wanna look at them again / do some leveling.

Wrath is going to be a great place to keep classic characters because it is still the ā€œold worldā€ and all of the quality of life improvements like dungeon finder, maps, quest tracking, achievements and a lot of other things were fully implemented.

So yeah, im ā€œdoneā€ at WoTLK but I will take my sweet time completing that particular expac in it entirety.

Agreed. The Cata xpac was pinnacle of PvP and seriously underrated.

I could see it going either way. But if anything beyond wrath is profitable I’m sure they’ll go for it.

I’m not personally interested in anything beyond wrath with the exception of Legion because of the revived twinking scene due to the merging of XP off and on brackets. The twinking in Legion in the 99 bracket with your artifact weapon and artifact traits is soooooo good. Plus with the stat template system you could get a 15% stat increase with full BiS compared to a max of 2% in any other bracket.

Ill play up to wotlk, and I’ll play mop if they do it, but no cata, wod. Maybe legion but that’s still pretty fresh so maybe. Never BFA or SL if we get to that point

Mop pvp was my favorite point in the ā€œnew worldā€ game other than legion M+

I would play legion, but they need to remove cross server mechanics. I think even dungeon finder should be looked at when wrath comes, but I’m sure we’ll end up getting it anyways. Legion had some of the best content of any expansion, but the mechanics of the game were still retail mechanics which ruined it.

I’ll also stop at wrath. I dont want Cata at all. you can essentially still see everything from Cata and beyond in retail. Azeroth before cata is gone forever outside classic.

I really enjoyed mop and its literally one of my favorite expansions but id cringe hard at a mop classic

I highly doubt they’ll go past WOTLK. Cata was the point where the game stopped being ā€œold WoWā€ and started being ā€œnew WoWā€, and subscription numbers dropped off hard and kept dropping further and further.

Cata pvp summed up was absolute terrible in my opinion.

All i remember is how tanks hit like wet noodles in pvp because of vengence being nerfed in pvp. Made me so angry to think some abilities didnt work in bgs or arenas, but did in pve.

Healers never ran out of mana. Holy pally were literally never below 90% mana.

Rogues could outheal healers with their recoup. Gave them 1%-5% of their health back every second, for which was more than the enemy can burn away.

1v1 duals were stalemates if its tank vs tank, or healer vs anything.

It was possibly the most boring time for pvp in existance of WoW. I particularly liked wrath for pvp due to the additions of all the new spells and still being able to hybrid. Though pallys and warrs were dominant for pvp, and shadow priests were a pain to fight as a DK

Idk? Go ask blizzard

WoTLK is the pinnacle of vanilla wow. It downhil from there on.

Funny.

Amongst my group of friends we all agree ulduar was the pinnacle of raiding for us as well
