Has any one else ever though it odd that Yogg-saron’s brain is celestial? I mean, out of all the things in the game that sparkle with titan based stars why on all of Azeroth is his brain that of a titan like creation? We have seen similar things across Azeroth, from Elegon in mist, Rygelon in Sepulcher, all the titan souls in Antorus. So this then begs the question, what even is Yoggs brain? besides his noggin organ it leads us to a few conclusions based on its appearance and here are my theory’s:

Yogg’s brain is a replacement after he got mind blasted by the titans fighting him. This would be for of course the purpose of the titans study.

Its an illusion and Yogg’s brain is still functioning somewhere in the mass bellow Ulduar. Likely, but echo’s of old god’s are known to function long after death.

Yogg-saron is not just an Old God, but also once a ancient titan that predates the pantheon of titans that we know. This would also make sense why Sargeras is on a warpath, to see his own kin corrupted into darkness and away from order would drive any stoic beacon of order into taking up a mantle of chaos. It would also make sense as to why the titans stopped killing them and instead imprisoned them. Perhaps out of a hopeful desire to cleanse them back into order just as much to preserve the prime world soul.’

it was just cool and thematic so blizzard made it look like stars. well that’s boring.
