Ok let's pretend they AREN'T botting, can we at least get respawn times fixed?

You can’t stop progress. Automation is the way of the future.

My favorite is how fish prices are approaching vendor shuffle prices this early into the xpac, but people refuse to say fishing has been trashed.

The beep boops post most of their fish while people are asleep, but I feel like the only one who notices that.

Going back on topic, I’d say put an increasing delay for respawn times if the same person is re-killing trash for more than a set number of minutes. This way botters who try to abuse hyperspawns get shortchanged without realizing it at first.

I saw a group in that exact spot a week or two ago while I was making the dragon race/WQ rounds on 13(?) characters. By the 13th there was just a Tauren monk there going through it’s rotation, no mobs there, homie was just spinning and throwing crap on the ground and breathing fire… :man_facepalming:t2::joy:

I mean…I’ve tagged mobs that groups like that were killing during the WQ. So you can’t assume they’re all bots just because they’re taking advantage of a hyper-spawn.

Part of that is botting, part of it is the endless number of alts using fishing nets and some due to the fishing treasures that drop fish.

There is no need to even buy fish this time around and you don’t even need to fish to get what you need for your own use, it’s quite absurd how much fish you can stock up on.

Hyperspawns should not happen to begin with, but if you kill enough of them they stop hyperspawning on their own.

The idea is to stop players from abusing the game, but give enough mobs to do what you need to do first, like doing a WQ, you should not have to wait Classic levels of respawn times to get the WQ done, but also should not be able to infinitely farm vendor items.

Nice hahaha

Oh yeah. Bots have had that spot camped since the start of the expac.

A lot of times these are 2 x 4 gold farms done in groups, not by bots.

I heard there’s an unlimited net exploit where people are able to grab fish from a net with no limits.

It might be that too.

Same with Legion & BFA cloth. Not a booming market, but a big crash the past few days with huge qtys being posted.

I think some of the bot farming groups have moved back to their old stomping grounds.

Looks like 2x4 you can find in lfg? Theirs Def botting in wow but this ain’t it. Group farming is not against TOS.

those mobs don’t respawn quickly and that is a lousy area for anyone to bot in because the mobs are too spread out.

Free bloody coins if you’re in war mode :joy: SO and I go on the opposite faction and sit there wiping them out.
Usually the last ones are the multiple guardian druids stacked, spamming thrash/swipe and nobody’s even near them (not even mobs) plus their “group mates” are dead.
