Embarrassed to say I thought I had the same issue, fished for 45 mins, killed squid guy multiple times, no key. Gave up and went to farm skellies in the vault and got the chest key. Found out when I turned that in I had somehow completed the Cyclonic key without noticing the very first time I went in the vault. You may want to go check. :see_no_evil::speak_no_evil::hear_no_evil:

I need to be admonished.

I had no idea that I had already gotten this stupid key and turned it in.

Hours fishing. OMG I feel dumb.

But, on the other hand… thank you all for the support.

I truly hope everyone gets a good laugh out of this, because it’s pretty funny.

But here’s the thing…I was basing my lack of key from my add on. It kept counting attempts, even after I got it. Ugh…ok Blizz, I retract my complaint. Lol
