Pvp felt great in phase 1. Everything seemed pretty balanced and nothing was too bursty. Now you get 1 shotted by literally everything and as a melee you are ccd and melted by range before you can get anywhere close to your target. Is there any potential fix to how bursty pvp is rn? Something absolutely has to be done especially for melee classes. The range meta is ridiculous rn.
Sacred shield back to 500 per 6 seconds would not even be close to enough to mitigate the burst damage.
I agree that something should be done, honestly. Last time I played retail (long, long ago) there was a buff that melee players got that increased their HP substantially in Ashran. This would be worthwhile addition to the STV event IMO. Feels real bad as a melee currently.
My Priest pre-casts a Greater Heal when I’m at 100% health and follows it up immediately with Penance and I’m still dead. 3k HP just gets deleted. It’s insane.

It feels real bad for everyone. Just because casters can oneshot from a distance does not mean we are not also getting oneshot by other casters.
PvP is just complete utter garbage right now. Everyone just onetapping eachother. You die before you have a chance to react. A fight is over in literally one global. It’s ridicolous.
Blizz needs to just give us all a flat 100% hp increase or something. We need AT LEAST double the ammount of Hp we have now across the board.
I was told druids were the only problem, and that obliterating their viability would make pvp great again. Seems like every single class needs to be heavily nerfed into the ground, starting with rogues and priests.
They need to literally double hp and tone down spriest Void Plague and SW:D.
The dmg still feels too high. We are talking about getting deleted in 4 seconds as opposed to 2 seconds. It seems like the issue is a lot deeper than simply doubling the hp.
This issue is runes should have added QoL and filled gaps like CoS for rogues and fixing pally tanking, etc. not add a bunch of skills that makes this closer to retail than classic.

I am also getting instantly murdered by shamans, both ele and enh. I am getting nuked by presence of mind mages. Warriors are insane. Paladins are insane. Warlocks are insane. hunters are insane. rogues are insane.

Hears some food for thought, bring some consumes with you next time to the event and maybe… just maybe have more than 1k HP. Seeing as you were crying so hard about druids 1 shotting you before the nerf.
If that were true as you say… the highest crit I’ve seen is a little over 1k for myself and a guildie with BiS gear 1152 crit as his best.

Before I open my eyes I’m gonna guess this is a paladin, the guys instantly dealing over 1000 dmg while casters were taking 3 seconds to do 180 dmg.
Apparently, they only let stupid people play this game.
