It’s time to remove all the reputation requirements to purchase mounts, toys, pets, and any thing else. You just proved reputation means nothing. And While you’re at it remove the need to get honor to get the pvp mounts also. Everything and everyone needs to be treated equal in this game now.
Edit: At the very least everything considered legacy content needs the rep requirements removed. It means absolutely nothing to have that rep.

blizzard removes water walking ability from a mount to make the game more fair for new players who don’t have it, but decided to add flying in 8.2, yet it requires a bunch of rep with a bunch of different factions
so blizzards removes one thing but does it again in the same patch, definition of hypocrisy

Players “ground” rep to get the waterstrider, for water riding, and now the sole purpose for grinding that rep is being taken away.
So the OP’s premise is that rep (at least for the anglers) is meaningless, so all other rep requirements should be removed also. Let’s let everyone get everything with just a neutral rep.
Well, I didn’t grind rep with anglers. During the MoP timewalking week, many months ago, I just did one TW dungeon on each of a dozen characters, got the 500 tokens for each and bought the rep thing from the NPC on timeless isle. Sent them all to one character (they are BoA) and used them to get exalted. It took me two days. That’s it.
So that means that grind the people did means nothing. Why should anyone grind out rep now Blizzard just proved it means absolutely nothing.
It’s four expansions old, they weren’t going to leave something so game-changing on such old content anyways. You can continue this tantrum all you want but you’re not going to accomplish anything. I ground it out the hard way too and I’m not a big fan of the strider nerf but it is what it is.
So everything 4 expansions or older now needs removed? If it is so game changing Why let all mounts and all people have it now?
Your hysterical false equivalancies aren’t helping your case. This was a mount that added a current game convenience that anyone would be stupid not to go for. Rather than continuing to do four expansion old content, they wanted a way to get it with current content. Like I said, I don’t like how they did it, but them doing it was inevitable.
It really wasn’t a grind to get in MOP and once MOP time walking was added anyone who did not have the mount after that well that’s on them.
