OH boy, the new icons are bad

Title, they look so harmless and something you’d find in a children’s game.

i agree they should have blood dripping off them and skulls and maybe some swear words or pictures of illegal narcotics

I demand MY quest icon to be a bunch of used needles!

they made them bigger.
and they cannot be shrunk.
once again, blizz fails.

Completely unnecessary changes are their MO now.

according to google, the average age of videogamers is 35. not sure who they think they are trying to appeal to with the kids game changes.

I think you can change that in edit mode.

It looks like Blizzard remembered there was more than one color in the world.

They follow the same bubbly, smoothed design and oversaturation philosophy of mobile game art, not surprising considering how much of the Blizzard staff has jumped ship in the past few years, they’re probably hiring fresh grads out of the CalArts

I like them a lot. They remind me of WILDSTAR (RIP)

You can indeed increase the size in Edit Mode.

And I like them.

i didnt go through everything yet as i have been really busy but there were 2 things that stood out to me bigly time.

  1. the role icon in dungeon finder Tank, DPS and Healer look like crap. they look almost blurry and a 1000x downgrade.

  2. i use bartender and since the micro menu changed it no longer fits snug in the corner of my screen where i keep it. it either jags down through the screen and is only half visible or it jerks up a 1/4 inch above the bottom of the screen.

another thing to note since 10.1 blizzard got rid of the option for “right bar 1 and right bar 2” and if you keep your bags on the right of screen along with 2 side bars the bags when open will overlap your bars which it did not do before. because by having right bar 1 and right bar 2 active it would allow your bags to open just off to the side of the bars and now it dont. it overlaps. i swear blizzard is making things worst each patch.

Do you mean it’s clearly visibly like a regular mobile game? Because Blizzard’s been pretty $%^ on visibility and I wish they’d apply this to their dungeon and raid mechanics so we stop having brown on brown garbage.

I agree, they don’t look the worst but they don’t fit the pretty metallic ornate fantasy look that alot of the rest of the UI has. They feel a bit out of place. In another game they’d be fine but they just look off in WoW.

I like them too! People literally will complain about anything and everything. Nuts.
