Thank GOD! I was afraid they would lower my button bloat on enhance! Now I can add more totems to “stuff I have to remember to do all in a 30 second window in a specific order to keep up with the fury warrior in damage” I hope my PvP opponents can wait for me to go thru this list of short buffing actions before I hit them. So dumb, another poorly thought out enhance x-pac.

You have no idea what you are talking about. There are 4 button specs to play in the game, and then their is 40 button specs to play average level. I dont think you understand how many situational buffs protections or micro cc’s are in the shaman class. After arcane mage, it has either the second or third highest requirement for order of operations. Im not even saying you dont play shaman, mabye you are a genius at it. But if you take someone new to the class and expect them to get that rotation along with all the priorities down as fast as say a warlock or death knight, they are going to be nothing but frustrated.

Didn’t they just bake windufry totem into your weapon buff.
So that’s one less totem to drop.

If you play shaman in pvp, you are looking at 30+ binds for all the situational buttons you have that are absolutley do or die. And thats not including a healing spec.
I like the durrhurrr play sumfin else

There is a difference between complexity and Whack-a-mole. Timing a rotation set up to be ready for a burst phase is complex, having to use a weakaura to track the RNG ability pop that Blizzard keeps boxing Enhancement in is not skill. It’s following the Bot.

How much time do you have to drop tremor totem if windshear is down and the priest or warlock is casting fear? Enough to move your mouse over to your bars?

Except when they literally asked the players for feedback. Not only are you wrong, but not really useful. “Get Gud” is old and stale. For the life of Enhancement in the modern game, ability bloat and RNG priority gameplay has been a struggle for Blizzard to balance. It’s why we usually struggle at the start of a season (no RNG mitigation) and dominate late season (Overcompensating RNG with key bloat.)

Blizzard changed arcane mage because of complaints about button bloat and rotation madness, so that is just plain false. They are starting to realize button bloat is detrimental, and just fixing it. Problems get fixed by bringing them up, not telling others to just get gud.
As for keybinding all the stuff you need, that is what I am hopeing gets lowered. Its way beyond a reasonable amount of keybinds.

I hope you realize that what you are saying is considered heresy to the “borrowed power” people. Poor Preach, it drove him to an absolute temper tantrum causing him to quit the game forever, until a couple months later when he crawled back in through a basement window.
It’s one of the main reason that every single player, including you and me, hated Shadowlands. We know because a few hundred of the seven million players said so here and on reddit.
So be watchful and remember, if a large crowd is approaching you with pitch forks and torches, RUN !!!

You can cut down on button bloat by combining powers that dont have to be apart. You could have tremor totem ALSO apply earthshield to yourself and your partner when it casts as an alternative. They could make it so you can cast multiple totems in a single keybind, some of them have no business taking a global cooldown by themselves. Bake abilities together that make sense.
