Haven’t been excited for Blizz announcements in a long time. They usually dash all hopes and dreams. I prefer to go into it with a “meh” attitude. That way, if something good actually happens, I can be excited, but if poop hits the fan, I’m not disappointed or surprised.

I reserve my excitement for other things upcoming in my life. :slightly_smiling_face:

After BFA’s announcement which resulted in me going. "No… Oh god no." I will wait and see.

Really the only 2 good things about BFA were:

Zanda Paladins and Orc Priests.

I thought BfA was great, tbh. MoP is my favorite expansion, but I enjoyed BfA almost as much as Wrath and every bit as much as Legion.

My least favorite expansion was BC, so I’m probably in the minority, but I thought BfA was quite good.

I’m admittedly curious to the accuracy of any leaks. It would be a little bit funny if there were no Shadowlands. Maybe that can become WoW’s version of the Grinch leaks.

Still feeling a little burnt by warfronts not going over so well. That was an announcement I was originally excited for. Any optimism for the next expansion will be a bit cautious.

I think BFA has aged well since release and I have mostly enjoyed it
but I have also mostly ignored azerite gear so make of that what you will

I won’t say “what is Azerite gear” because that would be hyperbolic… but I’ve never once paid attention to anything regarding Azerite gear, Heart of Azeroth traits, or whatever else.

The whole system struck me as annoying, so I just ignored it.

I love that Hyper-Compressed Ocean toy, though!

I don’t get some people. BlizzCon has always knocked it out of the park for me.

Everyone loves going on and on about how awful last year’s BlizzCon was, but I still thought it was great and it got me hyped af to play WoW.

I suppose there’s no accounting for taste. :man_shrugging:

Metzen use to kinda do stuff like that. I think it was Cataclysm where he opened the announcement with something along the lines of “I know some of you are expecting a… cataclysmic announcement!” or something like that because the Cataclysm Press Pamphlet got leaked before Blizzcon.

I think it would be kinda cool for them to have a bit of fun with stuff like that though.

I feel pretty meh about it. I’m not excited, it’ll happen, I won’t watch it. I’ll skim through the notes and if something catches my attention I’ll read it. Not really overflowing with faith in blizzard anymore.
