Ok bare with me, I’m not one to scream and shout at blizzard for things too often, but this needs to be said. Horrific visions release was timegated, which we patiently waited for. Now it’s here and we find out this morning that progression for visions is timegated which is completely silly. And now, I look over at my bnet launcher and see that you’ve had the absolute balls and audacity to release a brand new pack for purchase in the shop. This is bad even for you Blizzard. You’ve really crapped the bed today.

I’m glad it’s timegated. I wish the gilded uncap was timegated as well.
Thankfully with this timegated I only have to clear LFR before raid for renown.
Progressing beyond one mask runs, purchasing rewards, and ultimately getting greater runes.

You are implying that you see activities in game as things you have to do, I see them as things I want to do. There’s a large difference. I was looking forward to progressing through visions before guild activities tonight.

Yes, you are correct about that, we can in fact progress past 1 mask runs. I jumped the gun on that bit.

They’ve done far worse than this but their timing is always terrible. Like I’ve said in other threads…I don’t have an issue with the cash shop existing. Hell, I don’t even care that they add to it regularly. It’s the timing that they never seem to get right.
This time it was Ion saying “We will do better” and then proceeded to change nothing prior to this patch going live, knowing people were already annoyed by the time gates. The cash shop addition on top of that kinda says that they don’t really care anything about doing better.

Which, for me, implies we can screw ourselves this time.

They will never remove the governor so long as we do not very literally show them we’re pissed.
Only way to do that is to go play another game for a month and not pay them.
