If blizzard where to release a Mop Server like they did with classic , will you play it?, do you think it would have enough traction to be considered more than an afterthought?

I feel they should do tbc and wotlk and finish Classic servers there.

While MoP is clearly the best expansion they ever made they should limit classic servers to the pre cata era and be done with it.

I loved MoP but no.
I probably wouldn’t play on a TBC server either. Half of the justification for Classic is that contained stuff long removed from the game.

They remove things every expansion.
You can’t play TBC anymore, you can’t play Wrath anymore, or cata, or mop, or wod, or legion, the gameplay of those expansions is gone. I’d take servers of each.

Now that i think about think , mop wasn’t good because it was mop , it was good because of the design philosophy of the dev team at the time , one that i see blizzard will ever take again sadly, so a mop server seems like the only choice but it’s as unlikely as the first one tbh

I have a hard enough time managing my mains and alts in the regular game, I don’t need any distractions.

Yes and as a monk to touch of death every dungeon boss at 40% health.
I feel like if they were to add more than 1 expansion server it would split the player base more and more. The subs would stay the same but the player base would be split down the middle.
They should do an eq thing. Every time a new expansions launches an old expansion starts on a new server.
so like:
Vanilla—Tbc—Wrath—Cata—Mop
-------------Vanilla—Tbc—Wrath—Cata—Mop
-------------------------Vanilla—Tbc—Wrath—Cata—Mop
it works
and once the last expansion has a new server hitting it you shut the old one down.
Probably not, I’m a cata 
so… I remember MoP quite well even if I didn’t do everything. I don’t think it would grab my attention as much.

The only way IMO for them to reasonably do a Cata and beyond servers is to have another world changing expansion like Cata. Perferably an Anti-Cata where everything changes & grows, not being destroyed.

Although I’d also probably be back once the nostalgia wore off. Or maybe not, if the gameplay holds up to my memory (particularly in comparison to what’s coming in Shadowlands).

I feel they should limit it to the pre ANY changes versions. WotLK removed Naxx from EPL and thus should not be in a classic version. TBC only added to the original game while subtracting nothing. I support TBC but feel like WotLK since it already altered a small feature of the original does not belong as a revival.

I would play the CRAP out of a MoP server. My favorite expansion by far, I’d love to go back to it.

Honestly would rather have a server that starts at WoTLK, progresses in terms of class design into Mists [imho Mists was the highest skill cap for classes in the games history in general], and we go through WoD and other xpacs with Mists class design. WoD would’ve probably been a lot more enjoyable without the major pruning / dumb down.
