So after having a nice talk with a Tauren and Dalaran I decided to post this. With the potion being added in should we as a community decide on an official hotspot so to speak for people to gather if they want walk up cross faction RP? Pretty much an Org/SW for cross faction RP.

it should be somewhere neutral, where everyone is equal and a place where it can be easily accessible. And, also, a setting that will give people reasons to talk and interact with each other, something to enjoy.
My vote? Stranglethorn arena >:D

In my opinion, it would be coolest to just stick to what would be a real neutral places in lore. Booty Bay, Ratchet, Gadgetzan, Dalaran, Pandaria, and the like.

Makes me wish we had a Gadgetzan like in Hearthstone. But Booty Bay is nice with the whole pirate them right now in the expac and I am always going to be partial to Pandaria lol.

I’d recommend Gadgetzan, despite how lacking it is in canon compared to Hearthstone’s take on it. But it’s surprisingly spacious with a good variety of locations inside of it.
Booty Bay is unique and interesting with the verticality of it all. So that’s a good option for an EK Neutral Town. Fuselight-By-The-Sea might be too obnoxious to get to, but it’s a fun little area.
Realistically, Northrend Dalaran is your best bet.
It’s pretty easy to get to. New Dalaran -> Pandaria -> Old Dalaran portal.
It has all of the amenities that Org, SMC, and Stormwind have. Chat channels, bank, auction house, etc.

Booty Bay was probably the most common hotspot I heard of during the Cross RP’s rise to popularity.
I don’t know if that has changed in recent times.
I kind of mimic Zandrae’s feel, old Northrend Dal, or even new Dal is essentially a high location for such. Plus…the potion is sold in dal yeah?
I reckon new Dalaran. The potion is sold there, there’s a hearthstone to there, and it just seems like a solid location in general.
I’m not sure if sharding is still in place there though. I’ve never personally had an issue but I’ve only ever gone to rp there with a group of 8 or so at max.
I’d vote for that Pirate Bay in Drustvar.

Booty Bay and Ratchet are both good spots because they’re not far from Orgrimmar and Stormwind and connected by boat. Like Sarestha said though, New Dalaran is also good since we all have a hearth stone and that’s where you buy the potions.
Otherwise I’m super excited about this, I’m leveling my rogue to move back Horde side and I’m ready to creep on my Alliance friends and say silly things at them from the shadows.

I vote Booty Bay. A lot of my characters actually hang out there.
I’d love it if we could find a place in Zandalar or Kul Tiras, just so we’re closer to the actual events of the expac.
The Black Market to the south south-east of the Grand Bazaar is available, just not a neutral area in the gameplay sense.
Are there any decent spots in Freehold that aren’t crawling with hostile mobs? Thematically it makes the most sense as a place where faction loyalties don’t really matter.
Booty bay is probably the best bet. Dalaran is still kind of alliancey.
I propose Official Cross Faction Zones for several types
Factional War Cross-RP Zones:
With Azeroth in global war with the Alliance and Horde. Many zones stand out with keen conflicts just waiting to be resolved. I would propose the following:
- Ashenvale
- Hillsbrad Foothills
These two zones are closest to the Warfronts associated with the war. Can be easy access for everyone!
Neutral Cross RP Zones:
For those not keen on murdering one side or the other; there’s notably many more zones to engage in for roleplay.
- Ratchet
- Booty Bay
- Argent Crusade Tournament Grounds
- New Hearthglen
- Dalaran & Northrend Dalaran
- Feralas Hot Spring Resort
