Off-Week BG's suck

Basically what has happened due to the 500k honor cap, people have come to realize that the honor grind is near impossible off-week due to no BG weekend so there is next to zero competitors in the off week, game Q’s are slow and the quality of play both horde and allies is terrible.

3 Possible solutions for this…

  1. Revert the PVP system to pre-1.14 so that the honor cap is no longer hard fixed to 500k, this solves the low pop problem near instantly, but also raises the unhealthy bar back up to 2.5mill caps, so its a trade off on some days.
  2. BG weekend is all week and just that’s the week BG…
  3. Cut the fixed honor cap down to 337,500 so that people are more likely to Q up because the cap is in sight on off-week play.

Also remove BG off-week fully so every BG has its own week.

No solution is perfect, no system has zero flaws, but we can certainly try to improve things.

I like option 2, and also remove the off-week. I don’t know if that’s enough alone, but it seems like an easy thing they could do.

Back in my day we used to farm in wpvp in between ques not come to the forums and beg for help (800k honor btw)

These days they should just do AV every other weekend, then alternate WSG and AB for the others. It’s by far the most popular weekend and brings more people to play PvP. Sure it’s for the reward but meh, at least you get games!

When I ranked my characters the caps were roughly 2.5 MILLION… This is not for me to farm, this is for others to be motivated to play.

My selfish reasoning is more games = more fun for me.
