Three simple requests to expand transmog for the Off-Hand category.
- Hide Off-Hand.
- Transmog Shield over Off-Hand/Vice Versa.
- Transmog Staves/Wands over Off-Hand.
I’d hope they’re all simple and straight forward. Some models of Wands and Staves already are included in Off-Hand items, so allowing for players to transmog other staves/wands onto Off-Handed items seems like it shouldn’t be hard.
Other excellent suggestions/options:
- Transmog Daggers over Wands. Casters use wands ritually, so let’s allow them to be more magical.
- Transmog Wands over Daggers. Because wands also tend to have a pointy end you don’t want stuck into you.

include daggers for wand mogs. it’s short and pointy and why not shoot magic from it?

Please wand xmog to daggers would be awesome, I just got 246 dagger and 246 offhand for my mage that I upgraded my 239 2H from and I can’t for the life of me find a decent dagger mog

Casters should be able to mog whatever and hide everything. Our weapons are just decorations.

I won’t agree with staves.
I know you want the Gandalf style sword and staff combo, but too many of our staves include some really gaudy things that mess up the effect.
I do wish we could keep our weapons in our hands when we cast spells though. Like what’s the point of having this big honking staff of power if I’m gonna put it on my back the moment I start casting spells.
I don’t see why not. There are already Off-Hand items that look like staves. There just isn’t a reason to exclude Staves.
This doesn’t seem like a reason to disclude the option though. I mean, a Warrior can wield a staff in their off-hand and a sword in their other. There’s no reason not to allow a mage to do the same.

Having faction/race/class distinctions adds complexity, variety and flavor to the game.
Depending on the class and spec, there are already anywhere from over a hundred (my holy priest) to over six hundred (my frost death knight) options for off-hand. And this is without my having stepped foot in BfA or Shadowlands where there are more waiting to be had.
That should be enough for any sane person.
As I pointed out, there are already Staff off-hands. Being able to wield a staff as your off-hand is not some distinction between classes. I’m just asking to expand that to any model of staff, rather than the limited selection we have.
