Used wall at 91% hp!!! a 40% dmg reduction cd, the biggest personal defensive cds shamans have. Less than a second later the Ret hits a 21.3k Final Veredict, 14.6k Wake of Ashes and another 16.7k Final Veredict. All that through 33% vers and a 40% dmg reduction, this game literally is becoming more unplayable by the day.

Yeah, this one is absolutely disgusting. Guy has a 17k fleshcraft shield that eats most of the divine toll, walls basically the first global he’s hit, also presses ascendance, and dies through to almost just the ret.
The guy in the screenshot is definitely a little undergeared based on current conq gear, but I actually think that this makes it a lot worse; this guy has gear somewhere btwn last season 2100 and full honor gear and STILL died through TWO major cds to just a ret…
I almost never say that players are held back by gear and there were probably things that lead up to this death that could be avoided, but this is absolutely one of those losses that should never happen.
Yea i mean hes still 231 outside of pvp where most ppl are around 240-242 by now so hes in the worst case 10 ilvls below average, and he does have 7 Unchained pieces so his pvp ilvl isn’t low either, shouldn’t be a huge difference tbh, its insane.
Fleshcraft during it’s channel is a 20% wall and Judgements still burn thru it like jet fuel to steel beams
Really dumb 1 attack is doing 65% of someone’s hp at a 10ilvl difference
So many specs are just really obnoxious, I like that crit as a stat is relevant again but now maybe crits should just be removed from PvP all together.
Too many modifiers, too much varience, not enough HP idk

This too, I’ve seen Astral shift do this in another SS, like the animation has to complete or something before it registers redux
Exactly, there’s just too much stuff that modifies abilities dmg which makes it so hard to balance, game was much easier (i dont mean easier to play ofc) and healthier with less intricate systems. The simpler the game is the better it becomes.
But but pallies have no damage outside of wings & they can’t reach you even tho they have non dispel freedom and can kill you while in a bubble!! They really need SO much help. Insta Woggers full healing them is just not enough!
That’s a problem most DPS classes have in both PvP and in PvP, though it’s especially pronounced on Ret. WW also comes to mind. And then you have Arms and BM, which just fart out damage all the time.
So when you see a ret paladin pop wings, sera, etc, and then you watch him run at you and cast divine toll and take 17k damage and then another 11k and then you see a giant explosion of Light come down on you and hit you for 11k again and then had 3 seconds of reaction time to do something, you decided it was okay to not push buttons?
