Odds on Reins of the Infinite Timereaver

dropping in the TW runs?

So low that it is hardly worth quantifying.

I believe it was set to 0.01% drop. You won’t see much rarer than that.

Got it on my second timewalking dungeon last year.

Got it last year. Was one of the few “thank god that’s over” mounts I was also excited for.

Low enough that you don’t even think about farming it and that’s the truth.

It’s a good mount, but it’s one of those few ‘unobtainable’ mounts left in the game like HH, and Love Rocket, they have a drop rate so abysmal that you just get it when you get it and if you don’t, too bad.

The idea is to run TW for other reasons, run alts through for the weekly quests, badge farming for vendor stuff, the achievements, the mogs, the pets, the other mounts the dungeons can drop and if you see it congrats.

But once you are done, and I mean completely done, purchased every TW vendor item across all expansions, brought all the rep items to get all your rep levels up to count towards the 100 rep achievement, farmed enough for all the Legion rep to get all those paragon mounts AND saved enough badges for the inevitable when they release BFA TW and more stuff to buy, if you have gotten to that point and don’t yet have TW, too bad.

But count yourself lucky, you can now get Time Waster from the TW raid boxes and DoTI.

And before you say it, I done the above, I farmed TW for everything including Legion paragon mounts, I have been doing multiple alts in every TW week since Legion, one quest per alt for an easy 500 badges, since Legion.

And since Legion I am STILL saving badges. Mind you I have everything now, including the mount, but I want to save over 5K across multiple alts for the time when BFA becomes TW.

Then, farm some more and save up for the future when SL becomes TW.

I’ve done easy over 20K boss kills in TW, that’s the kind of commitment you need to get it all, and if you don’t have the mount by then, just give up and farm DoTI.

after doing 22K+ runs i finally got mine from the raid cache box from the TW raid during BC so it can drop from the Wrath one as well so can other mounts along with it dropping from each boss and every dungeon boss as well

Honestly the new strat to farm it should be get one of those mount tokens from DOTI Rise, which have a much, much better drop rate, then farm all the mount that are on that token list except infinite time reaver… then use it to get infinite time reaver.

Supposedly it’s super low, but also a lot of people have the mount so yeah. You’ll likely get it eventually.

I think from memory I got mine not long after it was introduced though I dont remember when. It was quite a surprise; I wasn’t farming it or anything, was just doing the TW runs.

Sometimes the game is kind. I mean, I finally got the Solar Spirehawk last month after over 500 kills. Yet I still dont have that damned Rocket and I refuse to grind it anymore. If it arrives, it does. If not, I have plenty of others.

Does it show up if people get it as a drop, like gear does? If so, I haven’t seen it drop to anyone at all during Dragonflight. If its a hidden drop of course, I won’t know.

I saw someone get one in Nexus a few hours ago.

Yeah, a DK got it in my Forge of Souls group last night.

The odds are somewhere between “it’ll be a cold day in Hell” and “not a chance”.

I got it last year on my other account after doing timewalking since wod. That was the only time I ever saw it drop.

It’s definitely a nice mount.

I got it last year and wasn’t really trying to farm it, it just dropped for me.

I wasn’t aware of it’s low drop rate till someone told me after I got it.

Dunno.

I got it randomly out of a TW one time and I’ve seen it a few times before that and after. It’s low but there.

Got one just now doing a TW 5 man…first time ever setting foot in the instance. Had never even heard of this mount till now. Dumb luck is best luck.

Congrats.

(Curse you)

Nah, I kid. But yeah, you got incredibly lucky. I saw that thing drop about 3 times for random people over the span of a decade before one finally landed in my lap. I’m always happy to see others avoid that seemingly eternal torment by Lootcifer.

I second that statement and I am an avid mount collector. You sort of mentally condition your brain to think about getting your 5 dungeon runs done so you can get your quest gear and that is it. I was never holding my breath when I looted a boss.

i got mine after 6k bosses
