Odd D/C issues

Ok here we go. I have been playing on classic have been having issues staying in game. Every 2 hours or so I will get a D/C to log in on both PCs BUT not at the same time! One pc will have it happen first then the other a minute or so after. I have NO in game lag at all. Its not a router thing as I am hard wired into it on both and NONE of my wi-fi connections are having the same issues. Both of my kids play other online games and neither one have D/C issues.

Also when I go D/C nobody else in my party notices that it happened. Earlier today when it happened when i logged back in BOTH accounts were still AFK! So that tells me that even though I am getting the boot to the log in screen my accounts are still in game as if I am logged in and playing still.

I’ve swopped out routers 3 times to be sure its not a router thing. Hell if it were my toon wouild D/C totally out of the game, not hanging out where i was a few minutes before.

I have two great systems each with 32 gigs of ram. One has a I-7 proc the other a new I-9 and both running 1070 gtx ftw NVIDIA cards. I’m at a loss and totally ticked off with this situation. Anyone have a idea on how I can fix this? Thanks in advance if you do!

I’d start by posting a winmtr. Run for 10-15 minutes, preferably play while it’s going to make sure it captured a disconnect, then post. You might need to stop it and start it again to keep it within the 10-15 minutes of data window. https://us.battle.net/support/en/article/27780

With this only happening to specific devices at specific intervals (every 2 hours or so), DHCP and QoS settings are the primary concerns I can think of. The DHCP releases at specific time frames which can cause disconnections on a timely basis, while QoS or WMM mitigate the network traffic which can cause disconnections. This isn’t supported by Blizzard, but these settings are typically on the router. DHCP settings can also be adjusted on the system to release. QoS/WMM settings can be toggled on or off to test. You may also want to check for any QoS programs like Killer or Smartbyte, also have QoS features.

Otherwise, what Yindar requested for the WinMTR test is helpful for a better diagnosis on the disconnection issues. Gather a WinMTR file until the problem occurs for 10 to 15 minutes. Copy and paste the text file created and paste it between two ~~~ like so:
