Oculus on-use to remove Eye of Corruption

When you squish an Oculus it removes the eye ball corruption without cloak usage. It’s not just for random materials to craft with.

That’s great until another eye ball spawns again less than a second later.

Cool down is one second

Interesting, slaughtering the eyeball’s friends scares it away. I shall keep this info in mind.

Oculus? :man_shrugging:

People without cloaks should be able to cleanse their gear by running the Oculus.

Only works with the eye. However, technically yes if you don’t have a cloak you can utilize that it’s also remove the eye of corruption if you have over 20 corruption.

Wait what.

Yeah but can’t you only collect 1 at a time?

You can have more than one. They don’t drop all that much but I’ve had a few in my inventory at a time.

I have about 30 in my bags. Was just stocking up on them because they’re worth quite a few gold each. Figured I’d vendor them toward the end of BFA if I didn’t find any use for them.

For clarity to everyone else in the thread, we’re talking about this:

Not talking about the WoLK dungeon…

Someone who doesn’t have a cloak won’t have access to these.

Who? Literally who doesn’t have their cloak right now?

That’s interesting, I have just been vendoring them.

Yeah, same. I thought:

“Hm. Wtf is this? It must be used for some of that 8.3 food for running Visions, or something. Sells for a good amount of gold…”

And I vendored them. But now I might keep them just to play with.

That is interesting. Thanks.

Trust me up so I can start providing the forums with content and sourced screenshots and videos.

Well versed in the hidden odd balls of wow and interested in sharing with the community more finds.

You gain access to the assaults before you get the cloak. It’d be pretty weird to stop right before getting the cloak, but it’s possible.

I wouldn’t know. I have a quest to talk to what’s her name taking up permanent space in the quest logs of all my 120’s, because you can’t delete it. I had a 110 pass through Uldum to get the neck who got attacked by unscaled 120 creatures at the flight point nearest silithus. Wasn’t much fun.

A lot of people you don’t hang out with decided they weren’t interested in forcing themselves to do hard content at low ilvls. There is no recommended ilvl to do that content, though there should be.

That’s why they keep trying to convince people to get on the hamster wheel like good little rodents. Because the new content is not meeting participation goals.

It’s also why they gave the xp buff and have announced that Legacy loot is coming next week, because people have nothing to do and are leaving.
