The lag sucks in PvE too. I actively avoid OCE players if I can help it.
This thread is almost a year old.
And the problem is still a problem. Your point?
That is the first correct statement Iâve ever seen you post though, so thatâs a plus I guess. Good job.
with fiber internet i avg 210ms from AUS
Iâm on oce servers and I can count the amount of times Iâve had under 150 - 200 ping in arena on my hand.
Itâs easier to manage in PvE, if you are the first to go into a dungeon, the game will load the instance on a server local to you. Itâs the same for PvP, but there is no way for you to manage who loads the instance first.
The distance someone is away does not matter. It is their connections.
When I lived far up in the North. Like so very very far. My connection was so super slow.
I preffer 10000% wait 5x more in a queue then play with a 5 seconds delay.
the â9 months laterâ then a necro post is kinda funny. Itâs like the necromancer was just born and immediately raised this thread
Agree though, nerf frost dk, buff feral, 150 ms is no big deal but kinda lame, etc etc
The 100 IQ move here is to prevent big latency discrepacies past a certain rating, particularly preventing OCE from US lobbies. Even if you think this promotes wintrading, I think this actually makes it easier to identify since Blizzard can now look at regions and focus their efforts in different groups
