How are Oce players going to compete for end of season rewards playing with 200-300ms in arena???

Yep this is an unsub too, was really excited for low ping arena, if this is fixed I’ll come back.

5 days before launch and you guys do the single worst thing you could possible do. I have done an unimaginable amount of prep to finally be able to play low ping arena in BC and this absolutely kills it. High ping arena games is why I stopped playing arena in retail because losing to a game to unfair ping is not fun. There are other solutions to the arena rating problem. Recalculate required arena ratings for OCE realms based off population DONT affect the gameplay to do so.

If you’re going to be stubborn and keep this system blizz, at least put a timer or something in first that prioritises you into a oceanic Q and after however long open it up to US as well…

This isn’t going to fix it though.
You’re 2500 rated, go in a queue, you get matched with a 2k team from the US who can kick every cast, while you can’t kick any. You get hit behind the walls and your melee can’t hit the enemy caster, so you get stomped by nothing but the ping difference and lose 30 rating. That’ll make for a fun experience and I’m sure it will inspire you to keep queueing.

this is how it is for retail and there are many oceanic players in r1 position.
All of classic so far was me learning to play again after 8 years gone in preperation for TBC arena. Now at the last moment after they’ve taken my money for an alt boost this change was ninja’d in.
TBC didnt have oceanic servers
retail has oceanic players playing on US Servers for arenas.
