Pretty sure they won’t fix the lag because it’s the exact same way on retail. OCE servers mixed with NA servers makes both parties upset to the point they will avoid partying with each other.

Merge the realms and have fun at 250 MS in arena. To me that sounds worse.

I take it you have never played retail in your life? OCE and NA players queue up together all the time in all brackets lol?
All you see in this thread is a whole lot of mains posting on alts and queue dodgers that avoid playing arena against other teams arguing for a merge 
The majority of OCE has already spoken and clearly doesn’t want a merge, you guys can literally xfer to NA right now and go pretend like you are serious about arena and faster queues and playing the game on 200+ ping, but you won’t do that now right?
These people would rather complain and try to get the whole region to suffer so they can attempt to get some virtual rewards.
Heh yeah you tell um! Why don’t they just leave all their friends and go transfer to a server with nobody to play with in their timezones and no guilds to play with. You sure told them!
There are people online at the times we play on NA servers, maybe go have a look next time before you ask for things you don’t even know about.
Or move with your actual OCE arena team over to NA if you want to compete there?
You have the option to transfer there RIGHT NOW and IMMEDIATELY compete prefer not to so you can make more excuses or come up with more reasons for the whole region to merge, but either way they are not what the majority wants, nor are they good enough reasons to do what you are asking.
Why should all of OCE have to suffer for a literal handful of people to pretend they enjoy the game when they won’t even take the necessary steps to enjoy it when they have the power to?
Nah mate I agreed with you. Sounds fantastic to leave a server full of Australia’s who play in my time zone to a server full of Americans who don’t. Plus I get to pay money to do it! I applaud you.

There’s 3 options.

Make oceanic it’s own battlegroup, we don’t have the population to support healthy MMR growth as is plainly seen and thus probably only the #1 OCE 5s team will get glad. If it was based on our own group there’d be a better spread.

Retail system, where it queues you for the first 3min against OCE and if no matches found it opens up to NA.

Just merge us, probably the least preferential but when i queue for 15min for 2s and can’t even get a game @ 2100, I’m more like to quit than playing on a 170ms.
