Oceanic Realm Connections for PvP Matchmaking in WoW Classic

This is exactly what is needed, adjusted rating points to compensate for a smaller pool size. Lesser players on NA will be getting 1800 and the pros can push 2600. We’ll be lucky to see anyone above 2100 on our pool size. So even the pros get shafted.

Lazy fix = Merge us back with NA

What should happen is address the underlying issues

6-8 minute queue for 3s at 8:11pm server time at low mmr…

What issues? That OCE isn’t as populated?

This thread is the perfect example of the wow community lol. There is literally no winning with you people.

Is there much point to doing Arena, other than some fun? We don’t have a big enough pool size to accrue enough points in a season for the gear. It’s pretty horrible to be honest, knowing that season 1 is just a mess and will only get worse when more people quit or catch onto it being a waste of time.

Try fixing the BG queues otherwise I can’t play in arena, cub renewal is cancelled already and won’t be renewed unless there’s faction transfers so I can play as alliance for BG’s and arenas.

I hope your still following the Oce PvP situation because its completely cooked now

Yep its cooked

At current rates starter pvp gear is unobtainable without playing 10 hours a day for a couple of weeks.

I dont wanna do this so im sure others feel the same.

Currently I see most people dissapearing from pvp so means its iffy whether or not I want to continue putting time into the game.

Currently on my Oceanic server WSG is 2 hour 15 mins, AB is 57 mins and Eots is 1 hour 46 minutes. AV’s don’t even happen at all. This is at 5:53pm

Is that acceptable? you be the judge

It’s difficult to read this thread. Everyone was cheering this change and then suddenly we all realized how right Blizzard was. Horde doesn’t even get queues, not enough pool size for arena and the honor gains are so low that no one even wants to get PVP gear and therefore not into the arena, stagnating it further. It’s terrible.

Is it acceptable that there aren’t many players who have spent minimum 30-40 hours levelling in the past three weeks to hit 70, at 6.00pm on a Monday in a low population geographic area?

Yeah, it kind of is.

yeah bro, just unsubbed today. No BG’s, queue into the same team/comp over and over not fun. time to go outside I guess

Something tells me you all regret this.

Lol hilarious reading all the “thanks blizz” posts after blizzard caved and ended your access to large populations. Went from having laggy games to no games.

Maybe try demanding that blizzard nerf horde racials or significantly buff alliance ones which will than cause many horde to switch to alliance thus solving the queue issue

You sure about that?

Quality > Quantity.

Australians and Kiwis have always had the choice to play on North American servers if they value availability of servers / sessions over connectivity. Very distinct memories of BF2, wading through the countless servers to find the 24/7 Strike at Karkand Oceanic server which was the only server I could reliably connect to.

Don’t know where we became so entitled to force everybody else to play the same way.

The difference is WoW is actually playable on 150-300ms unlike FPS/MOBA games. It is not ideal. But it is a necessary evil. Why must we all suffer unreasonably long queues before we can even play the game justbecause others don’t value their time.

Then why didn’t you just roll NA to begin with? Serious question, not being antagonistic.

This is a known issue to any Oceanic gamer and the option to suck up the time-zone difference and lag in exchange for a wider community has always been there

Want to play with NA? spend the $$ and transfer. It’s pocket change

Agree here I believe.

If it’s not that bad, the monitory should deal with it. Give all ocean players 150/200 ms and everyone else doesn’t change and idc what they do.
