How many people from the oceanic region are interested in fresh Wotlk servers? Is their enough to support a healthy population or will it fizzle out and die like many servers have.
If you were to play on the new fresh servers what faction will people be playing, will it be horde stacked like most others?
I’ll be playing and I hope others will be too.
I’d be surprised if there was enough interest (past the first 3 months) in the expansion as a whole let alone OCE specific servers.
We got barely enough players for the servers we got.
That said, I will have nothing to do with fresh crap.
If I thought they were going to be viable, then yes. I think oceania players will be put on USA based fresh servers (which is what happened with season of mastery). I don’t want the ping but playing when the server is quiet has some advantages. WOTLK was a pretty easy expansion but I did enjoy it. Ulduar was a good raid - but the gdkp fetish sort of ruins the challenge of doing extra difficulty levels. Think Ill stick with my current server.

You don’t buy classic wow though? it comes free with your world of warcraft sub. So starting fresh is literally free if you already have a subscription.
I think oceanic economies are probably in shambles by now for fresh players, so I would hope the do one.
That said without a bigger xp buff and no LFD to chain dungeon level… urgh!!!
My guildies and I hope they do one for OCE. We started at the end of S3 on Arugal and the economy is a disgusting mess for new players, even if our focus is PvP. The whole mindset here is boost and gdkp and it sours OG TBC for me, so a fresh start without that for at least 90 days would be nice.

I had 200ms ping on SOM, playable but bad experience for PVP with my R14 sp.
We started at the end of S3 on Arugal and the economy is a disgusting mess for new players.
I’d even go as far to say that it’s a disgusting mess for existing players, they’re essentially stuck in a perpetual cycle of buying gold and doing GDKP’s at this point. You look at LFG at any given time and it’s just non stop GDKP’s - hell I wouldn’t even be remotely shocked if new players were welcomed in to a wailing caverns GDKP.
Edit: I’m also not saying Fresh won’t have any GDKP’s, but at least it provides a chance for there not to be - at least not on the scope and level of Arugal.

I played Vanilla, I’m fine. For TBC OG I moved with my guild to a new server. I’m fine. I rather deal with fresh than what our (including you, because I know your guild is on Arugal as well) server is like. If I can get 90 days without the constant GDKPs and boosting spam, I’ll be happy. Also killing the same 10 alliance day in and day out on the isle is just boring af.
Blizzard listen to your community, don’t do a repeat, like you did with classic in the 1st place

They’ve proven they don’t care about us, they don’t even consider our region a region (lol).
Their new WoW expansion will be a failure, retail is a huge failure.
Diablo 4 will be a failure, most likely won’t have oceanic based servers as well LOL
They literally can’t do anything right anymore, it’s why they’ve had to resort to re-releasing Diablo 2, Classic, TBC & now WoTLK, because they are desperate & incapable of making anything new that anyone likes. To make matters worse, the few changes they make to these older games are ruining them as well.

Will most likely unsub wanted our own OCE fresh and i dont want to pay a premium to sit in queue all night to play for 20-30mins on SKyfury, a huge spit in the face of players all paying and wanting a fresh only to be bundled onto 1… 1 server…
I assumed when they decommissioned Felstriker it was going to be used for a fresh at some point.
