That would be good but even a non hardcore server on launch would be fine as you could just use the hardcore addon. I have a few friends who want to play hardcore but not on 200+ms playing on a US server

As a long time OCE blizzard follower, I have 0 confidence they will release an OCE server. Especially since there’s only going to be a single server under the NA(/OCE) region & they’ve recently improved the netcode/client-server handling to make it feel better for those with high ping.

where did you get the info that there was only going to be one server?
They said they’re doing 1 PvE, 1 PvP, and 1 Hardcore server on Classic Anniversary WoW

there’s no point to have oce HC servers. 180ms is irrelevant because the gameplay is so ridiculously slow.
if I could get sub 200ms I’d be happy to play hardcore on US server but 200+ms and connectivity issues last time I tried hardcore on a US server was a hard pass
I recently tested the latency on an NA server, and it got as high as 900ms on that test. And this is with NBN FTTP where my download speed is normally 50 mbps. I would absolutely love to play on the anniversary servers. I just don’t know that I’m going to be able to.

This again? 200 ms on a slow classic server is not an issue. Not like the 1500ms it was back in dial up when wow came out. If you are dying at 200ms then you prob deserve to. Im an aussie, in perth so not even close to servers and i have no issues playing on the
US servers on hardcore. Any death is on ME, not 200 ms
