Not sure if this has anything to do with Oceanic servers. But right next to the grayed out “install” button there a “region” button that lets you choose Americas, Europe, Asia.
Even an oceanic layer would be nice. Don’t want to have to explore Azeroth at night all the time during our peak play time.

Like surely blizzard isn’t sending us back to the stoneages with ping 
surely there lead engineer can sort us oce players out
ya… seeing the region selection only having 3 options doesn’t look good. I feel for you guys.
I think historically, we’ve been grouped with Americas? Perhaps the Q&A will yield more answers.
Like it’s 2026 like we have mop and retail servers run through oce and we get 10-50 ping surely with this new game every person will be playing they’ll have Oce servers…. I hope at the Q/A it gets answered
Like sure 200-400 ping open world grinding ect isn’t to bad but what about open PvP when ping actually matters and even raids when say you want to move last second for a mechanic ect, it would just feel horrible for us Oce players and returning players to be use to low ping to suddenly be playing with 5x the ping.
they are literally giving beta keys when you buy mcdonalds over here. not sure what that means exactly but i take it as a good sign.

Their total silence on it is really worrying to be honest.
Very easy to say yes there will be OCE layers and shards, but radio silence is bad.
They’re probably too busy playing the internal beta on 10ms tbh.

Maybe they have upside down english as a language preference to determine who you get layered with.
Given it is a super server, I wonder if it would be in Americas or Asia but select language option to English to group with Oceanic
like i hope its how she kind of explained it youll be grouped with your region and i hope it runs through the AUS server because they didnt really go into the details of how it works the super server thing
So which region do we pick for when the install comes live? Asia or Americas?
