I agree and think this is very reasonable in 2024.
Surely this will spark some discussion about how to tackle this issue going forward.
They’ve said sharding isn’t possible now even though bg’s work that way.
What about oceanic layer on NA or some other workaround / temporary fix for ping surely there is a way to somehow give us instance oceanic servers.
what they mean is “it’s cost-prohibitive for very little gain so it’s not happening”
