After evoker im certain they will open dracthyr to other classes that just fit in
1.shaman. the elemental spec is just everything like devastation but better
2. Warrior. An half dragon races has all the power to be a real fighter.
3. DK. Cant wait to play an undead dragon

Dracthyr Shaman would make me pretty happy.
Dracthyr Druid would make me leave my Evoker
I would immediately play my dracthyr again if they had bony parts like an undead dragon.
Mages and Warriors feel like a fairly obvious/easy ones. They’re both very ‘generic’ classes that tie in well with anything, and Kalecgos being heavily associated with mages could lead dracthyr to being interested in studying their magic.
Dracthyr don’t have a class, they got racial traits. We only call it an Evoker class for simplicity.
Even if we discount Evoker racial traits, they have OP physical attributes. Tail swipe and wing buffet or wtv. Also at least 1 charge of Hover would be a thing.
Also, how many Dracthyr exist? Not enough. Their numbers are dwindling.
Assuming they were first Dracthyr before being infused with the flight magic or whatever… I guess you could theoretically be a warrior that is subject to whatever made Dracthyr in the first place. That is desperate reaching though.
I’d rather play as the upcoming pirate class, as a Tuskarr.
These seem the more likely ones. In a recent interview they mentioned that there is no reason why. And i quote “A dracthyr couldn’t pick up a blade and learn Bladedance. Or cast frostbolt”
The Issue with Dracythr opening up to other classes is they shot themselves in the foot with Racials.
Having Tail Swipe and Wing buffet on other classes would be borderline OP in PvE and PvP. This is why I can’t see them opening the race up.
Shaman is my fave class, now imagine an Enhance Dracthyr, the CC alone be insane, Sunder, Capacitor Totem, thunderstorm, lightning lasso, 12 sec Windshear, add Tail Swipe and Wing Buffet no NPC or player in PvP will get any cast off.
Imagine rogues with the added 2 Dracthyr Racials. It will be a balance nightmare.
They could swap those racials to evoker class only
I didn’t even think of that. I honestly forget what is a dracthyr racial and what isn’t. That would be a bit too intense!
They could, but then you’ll literally have to redesign the Race, it’s literally built around those Racials which I doubt Blizzard would do… personally Dracythr losing hover aswell would be weird.
Hover would have to be a Evoker only thing aswell, so we’d have these wings just for show.
It would create very broken PvE and PvP combinations.
If Blizzard added Dracthyr druids and made their cat/bear forms look like actual 4-legged winged dragons, I’d swap to that.
I think they’ll get rogue, Hunter and mage
Doubt they will tbh see it more likely that they will give them a proper visage like our mastery racial is balanced around our specs doubt Blizzard is going to be willing to do that for every class if they can avoid it
