Send them all to bot layers with a fake market simulated by AI fooling them into thinking they are posting things and it’s really getting sold. With other AI players running around with fake names in the world. Make the gold look like real gold but it’s a different fake currency accumulating for months on their accounts they can’t do anything with really but buy repairs or random pointless goods on vendors.

When i fly by the bot train down in the caverns my fps tanks so hard lol. It has to be at least 100+ bots all just zooming around following the same path, it’s really mesmerizing watching it.
I hear of a small amount in classic from doing GDKPs with shady gold but usually just removal of items/some gold, streamers didn’t get actioned at all.
#tinfoilhat obviously they get preferential treatment due to their status.

Putting aside the absurdity of a new player jumping straight into needing Aspect Crests… There’s 7k worth of gold in world quests up right now. With mid week resets, that’s two weeks of just doing world quests if that was the only thing you did to try and make gold. Which we know is unrealistic, and there are plenty of other sources like weeklies, professions, etc. Gold is plenty easy to get.
Blizzard “tried” to sue the maker of a bot in the past, the judge sided with the bot maker.

Clearly the answer for this is to just remove gold, silver, and copper and make everything free.

I was just in an heroic dungeon , Halls of Infusion, where I was the only player NOT botting.
The healer had me on auto-follow and the other 2 DPS had the botted tank on auto-follow.
This is OUT OF CONTROL.
Blizzard, please do something.

If people got perm banned for buying gold and other things for real money then the players would complain and throw a fit about their friends being banned and how this game is going to die. lol
Guessing intelligence issue then since you are trying to reduce this to my character’s level.
What drama? Bots have been obvious all expansion long…You just happened to notice them finally.

yeah, the odd movements give them away. If theyre moving like a real player but just in a pack, likely boxers, not bots.
But constant oddball movements more likely bots.

It is sad that during the time it takes to level 1-70, you can run into about 5 groups just botting away, without fail. They’re always in the same spots chipping away at hyperspawns. You know when you report them and you get mail saying w/e like “Hey ty for reporting, it helped us take them down” Yeah that means absolute jack 
if you don’t stop the hyperspawns Blizz.
In short Blizzard doesn’t care, they never have and they never will.
