Yes and no, depends what you’re after
Full class hall chain can be done in a day
Honor level 80 is account wide and takes a while if you’re starting at 0
Balance of power is ~2 resets
Completing 200 world quests, depends
1000 pvp kills super easy
This side up is like months of archeology
M+15 you can buy a carry
Some hidden appearances are timegated
Glory of the legion hero requires 2 resets
Monstrosities requires 6 weeks if you have no prior progress
Suramar quest chain is fast with flying, just tedious and boring
Valarjar rep can be farmed by spamming normal maw of souls to revered

thanks! and geez the pain to go through all these just for mogs just aint worth it (at least for me) 
how about if i have already gotten my artifacts on my main and wanted some on alt… will it skip some of these parts?

No, it only skips the pvp ones since account wide
Balance of power and hidden are per class basis. Not sure if class hall campaign appearances share across diff classes
Works out for me because i have 4 paladins that can all use the balance of power appearances i unlocked on main, but its annoying on alts of diff classes

Honestly the time is worth it if you still have any sliver of love for the game. The stories in Legion were really awesome, tons of them tied to the artifacts in one way or another.
Class hall mount grinds are pretty long if you do it all in one go also, but so satisfying to complete.
Legion will always be my favourite expansion though. Won’t soon forget when they revealed Ashbringer at Blizzcon.

Because they brought back PVP vendors like people wanted but added a lame twist, now gear is behind a rating wall so you have to achieve ratings in order to use the vendors to upgrade gear. Nobody asked for this.

Same. Legion gave us so much content worth farming even after the end of the expansion.

Its a decent side diversion if you are all caught up on SL stuff.
I am down to 2 chars who wor SL well. Rest of the week has the time to go back to legion.
The basic stuff needs only normal legion raid which korthia 200 works easy enough.
Only catch I have seen is lock order hall mount. that one needs some crafting bits. And the ah on checks not nice at times if you lack that crafter. At least on mg’s last I checked. Other servers could be better.

two of the BoP recolor appearances are tied to account wide achievements, so you get the recolors immediately once you unlock the first one.
Only one that you have to get per character is M15+
EDIt: nevermind, Unleashed monstrosities is not Account Bound either. So, you only get the last recolor for free, from Glory of the Legion Hero, on all your characters.
Well yes, but you still have to do BoP
I have unleashed monstrosities completed on my legion toons but i did balance of power on my SL toon so big feels bad. 2 achieves off legion hero glory, 3 weeks left on monstrosities a second time

yeah, but BoP takes like, 2-3 weeks tops. it’s easy now.

I’ve done suramar questline enough to never want to do it again tbh, BoP on non pally alts be damned
yeah… the questline alone doesn’t take long. I think the issue is all the preparation for it.
You need revered with Suramar AND the Valajar. That could take a lot longer
I did it multiple times when i didn’t have legion flying because i don’t do pathfinders, so i have serious scarring from ground mounts running around looking for the hidden caves lol. Its definitely much more manageable with baseline flying 
oh, without flight that would take even longer.
My process is:
LvL toon through Legion, prioritizing Valajar rep.
Get Hidden artifact skin as soon as I hit max legion lvl
Complete suramar intro to unlock world quests and get 2nd artifact skin.
Spam Valajar and Suramar WQ (need 200), prioritize World Bosses. But the time you do all of them you should be revered.
Start BOP.
BTW, the other one that is account bound is “This Side Up” from archeology. I was just confused from which appearance it was. It’s the last recolor from the second skin.

Actually love that green ashbringer appearance, but i don’t think i have the willpower to do weeklies for it if its a weekly archeology thing
