I’m a new player in Dragonflight and recently learned about the soulshaping feature introduced from the Night Fae covenant in Shadowlands. Is this no longer obtainable?
You can still get it in Shadowlands. There is a toy you can collect to use it afterwards:
" Seed of Renewed Souls is a new toy that transforms you into your Soulshape in the Dragonflight pre-patch.
If you’ve collected Soulshapes during Shadowlands as a member of the Night Fae Covenant, you’ll be able to transform into your Soulshape in Dragonflight thanks to a new toy available in the pre-patch.
Seek out Lady Muunn in Ardenweald to start a questline that rewards the new toy. Currently, the toy is on a 5-minute cooldown with the buff lasting 10 minutes."

With a rare duration longer than its cooldown, in fact.
Though the fact that it has a cooldown at all is still silly.
The fundamental point being that you still have to go through the Ardenweald content and renown to get the shapes, but once you get them, you can use the toy to use them outside of SL.
You can actually use the toy even on a character that’s never seen Ardenweald, it just defaults to the fox since you haven’t collected anything else lol
