You can check in the sets tab, the S3 elite transmog also mentions S4, in the same way when you look at the elite weapons that you have not learned, its S3 and S4 variant appears, in wowhead we also already have all the items of the new season Draconic and it is the same skin as S3, what they will do with the ones voted by the community is just the bonus set, not the transmog I think, unless this does not apply to PvP.
yah but that only encompasses 5 items. How would they match the gladiator off pieces with tier sets that may span different seasons? And if pvp gear is just s3, does upgrading a pvp gear to tier change its appearance to the s3 gladiator set, or the voted on gladiator set? and nobody voted on weapons

Most classes have different tiers voted in based on specs. So there’s a possibility of 3 options, all with different looks.
No, dude, there was a separate post for CLASSES to vote on the armor set appearance they wanted. So boomy for example gets the s1 set BONUS, feral gets s3 set bonus, but they both get s2 transmog.

Feels so lazy tbh. Blizz generally has a pretty good art department too, sucks they don’t let them do better work.
Just farm out the job to fan artists and let people vote on that and I bet we’d get some dope stuff.
Unless we get 2 elite transmogs, it will only be the bonus set, it says that the winner of the druid was S2, however if you check the druid you will see that the one from S3 also mentions S4, probably the new color will be exclusive to PvE and in PvP decided that it was a lot of work and they decided to recycle everything from S3, because at the moment, that’s how it is for all armor and elite weapons.

Really? That kinda sucks. I know SL s4 was similar but that was the first time they did this, should’ve been a bit better this time. Maybe recolor them to match the mount or something, or at least add in ones they forgot from previous seasons.
At least in s3-4 of shadowlands we could get lookalike sets, now there’s just nothing. 
Yeah playing sl s4 to get the rest of the pieces that weren’t on the vendor in s3 was decent incentive, not amazing but something. Not sure how we went backwards here lol. I wonder if they actually realize a ton of people are playing this game for the cosmetics and that is their entire incentive to push pvp or raid or m+.
Not recoloring tier sets and not adding new elite weapons with new colors is just not exciting at all. Really no reason not to either, we’re not getting new raids or new dungeons were just replaying the expansion basically, would be nice if at least the cosmetics got something.
Bumping this! really want to see this blue sword added in. We only had one strength 2 hander for elite weapons in season 2 which was a polearm. This sword was very clearly supposed to be in the game but somehow never made it. Really should be added in season 4 since it already exists.
I think the funniest (and saddest) thing about all this is that they are adding 4 2h swords from the raid Ashkandur in its 4 colors, LFR, NM, HC and Mythic as cosmetic items that we can buy in S4 with the new currency but not adding the Ashkandur elite or glad conquest that we need

I will always continue to support this even though DF has ended, it is unfair that we lose one of Ashkandur’s best colors, there are few weapons with those white/blue tones, it is a tragedy that they refuse to implement it for those of us who achieved 2.4k in S2
Edit: It seems that many of the images you posted in the main comment are no longer visible, I suggest fixing it since at the moment only Conquest’s Ashkandur is visible
