Is arguably cooler than any previous glad mount ever. And is unquestionably infinitely times better than any of the BFA proto drakes. Took me maybe an hour to get. Very cool mount, but very sad that they cant make the “prestigious” pvp mounts look this cool.

I was too. Very happy good mounts are coming back into the game to be earned. But still, it saddens me that such awesome mounts are literally hand outs now a days.

I liked the armored protodrake concept but the color schemes are so bland. It needs a particle effect or something.
Maybe we’ll get an armored version of that sylverian dreamer mount for shadowlands. That’d be cool imo

Yea this mount is actually designed better than most mounts that take a good amount of skill to get, like raid mounts from mythic boss kills, rare dungeon drops and even glad mounts. not saying they shouldnt made it amazing looking, but they pretty much invalidated every other mount before it lol.

this is my biggest problem
mounts like this will never be cool,exciting, or worth using because any direction you turn you’ll see 50-100 of them
this, needs breathing animation + wings should illuminate similar to the wod gronnlings pulsing stripes or the legion stormdrakes light smoke clouds that emanate off the wings
Yeah I mean if you look at the animations and proportions the deathwing mount is clearly modeled using the Legion storm dragons as a base model. I’m just still hoping we see green or pale green proto mounts before the expansion ends.

Thats definitely a perception thing. I think all the glad proto’s are beautiful. If there was any reason for me to ever push glad that would be it.
The OW is also beautiful though.
I mean you are definitely entitled to your opinion man but I think the current glad mounts don’t really stand up to the prior glad mounts from any expac. Mayyyybeeeee season 2/3 of wod glad mounts but only cuz they aren’t dragons lol

I have not keep up so i dont know what the current mounts are. I have just always thought the the glad proto’s were some of the coolest mounts in the game.
If they offer something like a proto glad mount and 9.0 is better i may just push for it.

Storm Dragon best glad mounts, boring arena. Next would be BC, BC would be first if the models were updated, but they’re so old now they can’t really compare to the newer mounts. Malevolent white cloud serpent was also gorgeous.
The current glad mount is pretty cool. Ofcourse you actually have to be on it to know this
