Wowhead lists this as an s tier trinket for tanking. I have been farming this for a while with no luck. I have had my loot spec set to balance.
I have been simming trinkets and this one sims much lower than the A tier trinkets.
Am i missing something or does this trinket just not sim properly? Is it overrated?
Presuming you’re talking about your Bear Druid then.
If you plan Arcane Bear especially with double moonfire should be one of your BIS damage trinkets.
Otherwise better to sim
It does around 8% of my total damage in a key when using double moonfire build. I mostly play feral though and just tank 18-20 keys when i need extra vault slots.
I love it. Procs all the time and does a noticeable amount of damage overall. The vers is awesome. That being said, I don’t do super high keys, so my thoughts carry less weight.

Im wondering what would be my bets bet on great vault as well.
Should i roll balance in hopes of this trinket or go for the LFR fyrrak trinket?
Is great for the huge shield it gives and free passive damage, i use that with the Cheat Death trinket from FALL.
so, is it better to roll the great vault on guardian or balance?
i have a M17 and 4 15’s to roll on
i mean, gnarled root, or fyrrak would be good. I just dont know if there’s a better chance one vs the other or if either can roll on row 2
I can’t think of any tank trinkets that are better than dps ones right now. On my bear, I choose feral for vault spec always.
it requires a moonfire build where your talents are favoring the moonfire… ask in the Druid discord about more specifics but at lot of trinkets are situational like Cataclysmic signet brand and will require certain set ups for it
