Do you have to be on a quest to kill them in order for item to drop…I have 7/10 but no quests out there right now as I had finished them up…sorry I just realized I got the recipe to make the void thing already…
No quest needed to make the void focus. You’re right, I forgot you need the recipe to make it, but that drops from the same mobs as the other stuff. You should have it before you collect 10 fragments. (And as you said, you already have it.) Probably should craft it from recipe panel rather than click on stack as I mentioned above.
Just grind out the remaining fragments and you should be good to go for tier 1.
I got the 10 but nothing happens when I click on them to combine them…any idea what I am doing wrong…I am heading over too Heart of Forge now with them in my bag.
Yes, sorry, I made a mistake. Use the void focus recipe in your crafting menu. That should work.

Once u get the recipe of void focus and create using the 10 gathered objects, a quest will automatically pop up and ask u to go to the heart of chamber.

do I get the cloth patterns in Uldum? This supper confuses me I have everything except patterns been grinding for 5 weeks now now luck not doing something right
I was looking for the same information and thought I would update as many of these posts for those searching after me. I think you need to be maxed (175/175), but I could be wrong. It only took about 30 minutes to get all of them and was fairly easy due to the quick respawn rate of Acolytes in the area. They are located in Uldum as well, but I did not farm that location since I was already in Panda land. Hope this helps!
