N'Zoth talking to me randomly

I just returned to the retail after an over year break-ish and I randomly started hearing a deep voice like N’Zoth telling me “The void is your salvation. Nothing can be gained from resisting my truths. We are bound together, forever.” randomly in a 20-30 minute span. I was hanging out outside of Stormwind when I heard this. It felt like a schizo experience until someone in General chat confirmed they were hearing it too.

I checked my addons but I don’t know what could cause it… Details!, RareScanner, TRP3… that’s all. Is it maybe a toy or pet?

Does you character still have the gift of n’zoth? And were you in one of the bfa areas before going to sw?

No to both of them… although your comment maybe helped me figure it out? I have the Voice of the Silent Star equipped from Dragonflight Season 4. It says “Whenever nearby allies take damage, the Voice has a chance to beckon you.” and there was PvP happening around me. Could that be it?

I just cursed at Googles AI to get me to find that, and I cannot find a single source for it.

Is that word for word what it said, or your recollection?

Oh yeah, iirc that did have voice lines. Been a hot min since I wore it so I forgot. I just have the gift of nzoth still on this toon so any time I got to a bfa zone, I hear the whispers and sometimes hear them in SW.

Edit: I added an extra clip at the end. I noticed how it randomly cuts off the voice too, so strange.

Its very odd that we are not finding any web pages or anything with these words. I cant even find a good WoWHead source for it.

I double checked but don’t see a buff or item of that. Lol it’s kinda creepy cause I’ve never heard it before. Even the voice lines for the Voice of the Silent Star don’t include anything I mentioned above.

I do but since no one is online atm then I don’t have anyone to test it on. I’ll do that tomorrow when people are online and I can drag a friend into this test. Being a packrat helps sometime lol

That’d be great! I don’t know what triggers it yet though, we were sitting around for 3-4 hours before I started hearing it. It’s like the clock hit 1AM and then it started happening.

Did you recently do any BFA raids or dungeons? just looking it up someone said it has something to do with that. To me it sounds like the stuff you hear in horrific visions.
