Nzoth size comparison

i dunno, i just expected him to be bigger

He was the weakest old god, so maybe he should be a bit smaller than the others. That being said, his size is comparable to Yogg’saron and C’thun.

this is suppose to be the full might of the old god, while the others were just peaking out of their prisons

I will admit they did make him seem WAAY more colossal in the Azshara warbringer cinematic. Azshara was like, the size of a tiny dot compared to one of his eyeballs.

His model kind of looks cheap… Compared to his appearance in Hearthstone, he seems very low-quality.

Yeesh. Those enormous monsters from the Twilight Highlands were bigger than that. Not really very intimidating.

He’s as big as he wants to be. When you aren’t having your weight supported by water, you might want to be a bit smaller.

That is N’Zoth’s head. His body is much bigger as both Crucible of Storms and Ny’alotha itself shows.

That’s what she said!

Most of the Old Gods are vastly bigger than their “core” which we beat to death with our bare hands.

Yogg was spread all over Northrend. N’zoth is worldwide.

Sorry had to do it

Actually Yogg-Saron was also spread world wide, Chronicle mentions in the past his saronite was popping up all over the world, implying his tentacles were reaching world wide.

Isn’t his battle arena an entire zone though? This could just be his hitbox while the entire arena is considered his body. If that is really how big he is It’s a little disappointing, he looks kind of cool though.

True, we only saw fragments of what the old gods had to offer in the older expanstions. I am very disapointed to see a old god in its full power being this size. This is just stupid. He is shown way bigger in the azhara cinimatic. That was the size i was looking forward to and expecting. I hope Blizzard changes this because I feel completely ripped off.

i believe you go inside him for the first nzoth boss fight

This is also a beta model, the scale might not be right. Same problem with Thrall’s axe.

fair point i suppose.

Lore-wise, Yogg Saron’s body spanned over Northrend - The War with the Titans left his blood spread amongst the landscape (Hence Saronite ‘The Black Blood of Yogg Saron’). The Titans had to shackle his body far - far beneath the earth, then shackled the pinnacle of the Old God (His brain & heart) far beneath & surrounded within a Titan-City-Prison-Facility; and did the same with the other Old Gods.

Their sizes though were described as MASSIVE - Like when the Titans ripped Y’Shaarj out from Azeroth, it left a bleeding crater (The Well of Eternity) with immense damage around it of which the Titans had to work tirelessly to fix & heal. So I can understand people’s disappointment in regards to size.

N’Zoth has been described as the weakest in raw power, but one of the most cunning & clever - rivalling Yogg Saron. In terms of size, they’ve never stated which one was larger.

They’ve stated that the Female Old Goddess they teamed up to hold down - Entrap her soul within a blade and consumed her body afterwards for power (Hence Xal’Atath despising ‘What they did’ to her).

Anywho, perhaps this size is merely a ‘head pop’ of the Old God’s immense form (Like Yogg Saron & C’Thun bosses were).
