Six seats at the high table, six mouths that hunger. One will consume all others. -The veil wanes.
Anyone think he’s talking about the Pantheon?
Or, how many council members are over the Horde, since Sylvanas abandoned us?
What could it mean?

Veil is shadowlands related… Probably sylvanas - shadowlands related.
How many council members are over the Horde?
There was 7 seats I’m the Pantheon.
Sargeras and Aggramar are dead.
That leaves 5 left.
I don’t think it’s involving the Titan Pantheon.
Seems like more than 6, unsure who exactly is part of the council at this point. Though I don’t think any of that has any part in what N’zoth said.
My opinion is whatever was supposed to happen got cut… or the riddles might carry into something that happens in Shadowlands with the whole Veil talk and some other moments that he mentions a ‘‘she’’ or something referring to Sylvanas.
Right on. Good observation! Just trying to do some foreshadowing. Got some wild predictions for the other dialogue that was given.
Sargeras isn’t dead. He is imprisoned at the seat of the Pantheon.
They are fun to speculate - - I hope there is something to all the Ilgynoth and N’zoth riddles. We saw the whole circle of stars chatter in Legion be actually the Azshara fight I think. Still waiting on the one about the lies, master’s table etc… I think you know which I’m referring to. Not sure those came to pass.
Hunger for vengeance, I’m thinking.
So Sylvanas, Anduin, Tyrande, Jaina, Azshara, _____. Idk who the last one would be. Baine?
Either way, if I’m even on track, I’d assume the 1 is Anduin after that vision in the Wrathion cutscene. Though I’m realistically just basing this on a single cutscene + a hunch based on speculation.
Edit: Scratch all of that. I should be thinking larger scale.
I bet it’s Elune.
We have 6 major elements to the WoW chart: Arcane, Nature, Holy, Fel, Death, Shadow… The Tyrande story is far from over, and there was a major shift after all.
TBH it’s still too early to say what this means, but looking forward to finding out.
High table is pretty specific clue, however.
You’ve made some good points!
I’m sure Tyrande is a major ball player coming up. If she has a part in killing N’zoth then I don’t think she’s gonna have a major role on Shadowlands.
I bet Blizz just made this up and threw it at us to confuse / distract us
Death will consume all others.
He’s talking about the six cosmic magic types. Light. Void. Fel. Arcane. Nature. Death/Necromancy. Six powers all hungry for more, one hungriest and in the position to begin to devour the others. “The Light has made a deal with the enemy of all.” - N’Zoth referring to the fact that the Light recognizes the power of Death and the Jailer and made some sort of deal to save itself presumably.
So as this all works itself out, expect a Light/Void expansion after Shadowlands.
Sometimes they are subtle, and hint at things in future expansions.
Here is the Varimithras quote when you pull him as Alliance in antorus keeping in mind the Shadowlands trailer.
”So, your Alliance still endures. Longer than I expected, though she has already planted the seeds of its downfall. She is patient, that one.
When your thrones run red with betrayal… when your holy places burn and the shattered mask hangs above your hearth… only then you will know. And it will be too late.”
The shattered mask refers to the Forsaken emblem, not the Helm of Domination. The shattered mask hanging over their hearth is just a metaphorical way of saying they’d be conquered by the Forsaken. As of now, it seems clear that that isn’t going to happen. Varimathras knew that Sylvanas was going to try to destroy the Alliance because he knew her character very well. He does not have any special power to see the future, though.
Why does he only quote the shattered mask part to the alliance then and not horde?
Edit - nvm, misunderstood.
I still don’t thing it’s referencing losing UC.
And I wouldn’t be surprised if we see a betrayal between Anduin and Genn at some point.
Because when you encounter him as the Horde, he’s not giving a threat about her conquering you eventually. He’s gloating that she already has:
"So, she found me at last. Sent her underlings to finish the job.
Tell me, when she seized your throne of hides and bones, was your allegiance forced? No… I’d wager you surrendered it willingly… or were convinced you did.
It matters not. You are blind to the darkness in your midst."
