N'Zoth OP for LFR

Is it just my or is N’Zoth to strong for LFR. We are getting slaughtred by him. Most raids i go to have 10 stacks of determination and i still don’t see them anywhere close to him down

Agreed

Buff nzoth in lfr

Probably because they are just not paying attention and doing the actual fight mechanics…

That is the issue at hand yes.

The biggest problem I see is that people abandon it.

Once you get an idea of the mechanics, it’s not that bad. But people leave, then comes more people that don’t know the mechanics and the cycle continues.

Also most people don’t run back to their bodies, dying by insanity.

The dungeon journal, though, explains the battle terribly. I learned the mechanics thanks to the tank, trial and error and online.

An extremely common complaint. The fight was not designed with the consideration of how it could be adapted to be appropriate for the type of player who currently does LFR.

Not worth doing in its current state considering the trash loot it gives out. No one is going to sit in LFR for 3 hours to do a boss that drops worse gear than emissary quests. It needs a major nerf to make it worthwhile.

He’s to tough for LFR

It’s only hard because people expect to get carried. I tried to tank N’Zoth with 10 stacks of determination and over 10 attempts, I noticed that the same people died to the same mechanic every single time. They just don’t care about doing the fight correctly.

Yea I was just in one and the same person got MCd every pull at the same time cos he didnt use his neck, like at all. after being told many times

He isnt the issue. Its the lack of people listening and learning mechanics

This is the worst part about the whole thing. Just when people start to get it, they leave instead, and then everything has to be experienced all over again, and others who got it get irritated and drop.

Clearly the only solution is to delete LFR.

nzoth wasnt ment for lfr. nzoth needs people who know the mechanics, not people that just run and gun him.

i tryed lfr wave 4 ones, didnt even get past the fist boss, half the raid didnt have there clock, the others didnt go to the back of the tentacle

want to fight nzoth, do a group finder

I listened to a rundown on this earlier, sounds like nerfs may be incoming. I really hate it when they do that in LFR, the boss must be so hard that even at half strength or whatever he still beasts. Luckily I’m concentrating on leveling now so by the time I get to it maybe it’ll be cleared up.

Don’t get me wrong, I love me some LFR. But only if people can actually do it. A few deaths, no big. Serial wipes on the same exact phase every time because no one understands the fight makes me leave though. I seem to recall there was a similar problem couple tiers ago, it was like, two or more people had to do something or we all die, I was really trying but I may have been the only one and I couldn’t do it alone. Plus I didn’t get any pointers and had to kind of guess.

Huge bummer when a team can’t come together, like, at all. Least Visions are getting a buff, maybe I’ll just do those until it’s safe in there, I’m not spending 5 hours in LFR as some apparently have (anecdotal but I believe it). If I wanted to spend that kind of time I’d at least try to get into normals.

This is how I feel about it as well. I may just wait a while to bother with it since I only wish to complete the quest that requires me to kill N’zoth.

All these ppl QQing that he has too many mechanics when he literally has the least amount of any boss.

Phase 1: DPS the add and don’t stand in black.
Phase 2: Kill zits and go to/from boss.
Phase 3: Kill tentacles. Hug the person you’re wired to.
Phase 4: Either continue P3 or go downstairs and repeat P1.
Phase 5: Repeat phase 4.
Phase 6: Kill boss until dead, don’t stand in black or get hit by a laser.

Gg

TLDR; DPS whatever the tank is on, don’t stand in black and hug your partner.

i just cleared it. i ran guardian as dps since it was my first time lol. its a pretty cool fight.

100%. Normally half the raid just auto attacks. 5 people afk. And the other 6-7 carry the entire raid. You can’t do this with nzoth. No one doing lfr is there to learn stuff. They are there to afk and collect loot.

I loved LFR Siege. If we can go back to that ‘difficulty’ that’d be cool. This is a step in the right direction. Less AFKers, sleepers, and auto-attackers in LFR.

Edit: LFR SoO is what got me into raiding.
