unfortunately mostly everyone in lfr are lazy.
I wasn’t sure until now, but after this and the statement that LFR is as hard as Mythic… now I’m fairly sure you must be trolling.
Troll post…nothing to see here
It has to be true. Why else would LFR suddenly be getting so difficult? I am not hearing so many complaints about normal and heroic difficulty.
this is actually a pretty fair complaint. is the requirement actually only 410? that would make the rewards ~EP gear.I didn’t realize how far removed LFR was on the gearing path; that’s world quest quality
food for thought tho, does anyone seriously think 25 people who are 410 and rank one cloaks could do him on LFR? idk if they should increase rewards and ilvl req but that seems trapish low. assuming no fight knowledge and no alts of people who had done it.
i don’t think i would trust most guild groups to do him on normal with 0 preparation/guide/comms at appropriate ilvl, let alone a random assortment of strangers.
I agree with OP. I have been playing WOW since 2006, and this is the hardest LFR Boss since LFR was implemented. I joined 2 different groups that reached 10 determination and we still could not beat it. First I didn’t even know determination could reach 10. LFR is supposed to easy, otherwise whats the point of waiting an extra month for content and crappy gear. I mean Mythic 0 rewards the same gear and can be cleared in 10 minutes
LFR should have never been as easy as it has been. The raid should always be a challenge, just less so than the higher tier versions.
It’s time players like you get it through your heads that if it wasnt for lfr there would be NO RAIDS I dont know how many times this has to be said before the message gets through.
Just don’t tell them about the mythic only “Bonus” part of
the fight they’re missing out on
That’s because those who can, do,
and those who can’t make forum posts
I hope its not nerfed i don’t want to fall asleep in there.
Ahhhh, I wouldn’t go that far. Durumu, Lei-Shen, among plenty of others also hit ten stacks without trying. I suppose one could argue people could down Durumu with a couple of really good DPS, but still.
N’Zoth requires people to think. I know I’m LFR, thinking is scary. But I promise it’ll be okay.
LFR is not hard… it has a few mechanics, sure, but it certainly isn’t difficult if people do what they are supposed to do.
Here’s what you have to do for LFR:
- DPS the right tentacles (ONLY the one nearest Psychus)
1b (tank). Tank Psychus next to a tentacle until it is dead… then move to the next one. - Watch your sanity. Your neck is available WAY more often than you actually need it if you aren’t standing in black puddles.
- Don’t stand in bad
That is pretty much it. I know… 3 mechanics is a lot to handle for LFR, but…
@Rhuor,I did Durumu and Lei Shin about 15 times in LFR back when it was released and my LFR groups normally got him on first or second try all the time. In fact prior to doing Nzoth on LFR the most determination I ever got in LFR is 3. I honestly didn’t know it went up to 10. I always thought it maxed out at 5. I was going to try and raise my gear before I tried the raid on Heroic, but if LFR is this hard, I don’t even want to know what Heroic is like.
Heroic is fine. People know mechanics Normal and up. LFR just has affixes to it:
-Apathetic raiders
-AFK players
-Bad players
N’Zoth as a boss is fine. I just did Heroic last night, you just need people who care about their character. And LFR isn’t where people go who care about their character.
Also you’d be better off getting gear elsewhere. LFR gear feels really useless this expansion.
@Nightpain, your comment is kind of dumb. Imagine if I told you after getting your butt whoop by Rhonda Rousey, " MMA is not hard, you just need to
- Train your body
- Learn MMA techniques
- Gain experience from fighting"
That’s how stupid your comment sound, anything can be made to sound easy, the fact is people have a legit reason to say it is hard, just because it isn’t for you does not mean you should judge everyone based on your experience. This is LFR. Players are used to it being easy. It rewards lower tier gear and is meant to allow non hardcore players to experience content without pain that Normal and Heroic players got through. Check my Armory, although I am a solo player, I have done all raids on LFR, Normal, Heroic and Mythic. I have ahead of the curve achievement for several raids. LFR Nzoth is hard based on LFR standards.
@Rhuor, I am going to focus on Mythic plus to gear up, it seems like the fastest way to reach ilvl 460. Although I have had a lot of bad rng luck, my last four 460 gear that drops were all boots.
Make sure you’re pushing yourself to clear the visions, too. The higher the difficulty, the better the ilvl reward, and guaranteed to corrupt starting this week. It’s a good way of catching up. Plus doing the assaults gives you a chance at more gear.
It’s so easy to obtain right now that LFR is just not worth the hassle.
What are you talking about? If they did remove lfr, you still have normal, heroic and mythic difficulty. Lfr now is a cesspool since everyone just want to be lazy and ignore raid mechanics because “its lfr”. Even Emissary rewards gives out better ilvl that you really don’t need lfr anymore.
It’s always 15 iLvl increments, so…
If Mythic is 475, the rest will be…
Heroic 460
Normal 445
LFR - 430
So yeah, WQs give better gear than LFR. Still, LFR “difficulty” is directly related to the people in the group. The more you know and all that. If they would take 5 mins to watch a video or read the dungeon journal it wouldn’t be hard at all, but they don’t. They walk in blind then complain because they can’t just stand there and “pew pew”.
“Easy” and “roflstomp faceroll” are actually not the same thing. LFR is “easy”. LFR is not, nor should it be, “roflstomp faceroll”. So, yeah… “gitgud” is a pretty fair response to posts like this, at least good enough to read the guide the game provides for you.
