The Raid skip from ‘Ny’alotha: MOTHER’s Guidance’ is bugged or not working as intended? i hope…
We completed the Heroic Ny’alotha skip quest last week/reset. Killed Heroic wrathion this week then nothing? we had to clear 20-ish trash packs and walk all the way to the usual bridge/portal to access Carapace of N’zoth.
Hardly seems like utilizing “them to bend space and expedite our passage” to Carapace as the quest text reads.
I think the Ny’alotha skip could be improved if the ability to teleport directly from after the Wrathion encounter to the Carapace room was added. For example, a portal to click on (like in Hellfire Citadel), or the ability to interact with the Wrathion NPC and select a dialog option (Like Antorus).
With the current implementation, getting to Carapace takes longer than clearing the final two bosses, which significantly reduces the usefulness of the skip existing. Zoning in with a 10/12 lockout starts you at the bridge towards Carapace (with only a few trash packs to clear), so with how the skip currently works, it’s much more efficient to have an alt at 10/12 used to extend each week and create an instance there.
I hope to see the skip updated to at least have parity with what a 10/12 lockout would offer (starting at bridge to Carapace), but preferably taking you all the way to the Carapace room (where Wrathion is waiting for us anyway).
Still happening as of today… We even had a druid stealth there and active MOTHER’s RP hoping that would teleport folks when they zone in.
Alas, it did not. A skip intuitively implies you’re skipping everything to get to the boss. I can’t remember a single skip at any point in the past that forced you to clear 20+ mins of trash to use. Killing Wrathion isn’t a huge deal, but sweet baby jesus don’t make us farm trash to use the skip we spent a month unlocking… 
Does anyone know if this has been fixed yet? If what I’ve read here is correct, as well as what I’ve read on Reddit, this skip is horribly inefficient and dumb.
