So, my game once more froze up while I was questing in Tanaris, and the nightmare code 43 came back. My NVIDIA video card is not working again. Third time that has now happened, and specifically with WoW post 8.1. Now, here’s the interesting bit… I ran the game using just the integrated crappy graphics card, same settings as before. The game ran better than with the dedicated NVIDIA. Yes, FPS was still low, but I was able to do a full BG without major stuttering. Even in Boralus, no stuttering. Of course, the situation is still not tenable because while the stuttering stopped, the FPS was still low (about 12-20), and my poor laptop was overheating enough to cook an egg on.
Yes, it’s easy enough to just ignore me because “my computer is not good enough, it’s old”, but it seems to me that based on the other threads, clearly there is an issue going on with WoW. So, my question to the tech people is, what can WE do to help you solve this issue?
